Olivia's POV
'My father was nowhere to be seen as well...'
I break down into tears once again as my heart cracks even more at that realisation. 'Don't tell me he was in that fire as well... m-mom... d-dad... I can't lose you both at the same time... I-I just can't...' I curl up into a tighter ball as every memory I have of my mother and father comes into my head, making my heart even more and more damaged as each one comes to mind.
Flashbacks... Third person POV
"Mommy! Mommy look! I can finally ride a bike!" A giggling five year old Olivia says as she starts riding her bike without the stabilisers for the first time. Wearing her knee pads, elbow pads and helmet, she's a little wobbly first but quickly starts to speed up until she is eventually riding in circles around her beaming mother, her small pink eyes shining brighter than the brightest star you can think of.
"Well done baby! You've finally mastered it!" She claps happily at her daughters enthusiasm and smiles even more as Jason comes out to join his sister, deciding to sit down on the curb so she can keep an eye on the two of them as they giggle and laugh and just have a good time together on their bikes...
But her Mother's face was always blurred... the happiness clear but any details about her were unreadable...

"Happy birthday dear!" Olivia's family breaks into the happy birthday song, grinning and clapping as a half awake yet beaming nine year old Olivia sits at the table with Jason on the left, her mother on the right and her father coming out from the kitchen with a birthday cake decorated with nine candles.
Once the song was over, Olivia blows out the candles with her eyes closed, thinking very clearly in her head on what her wish is. As soon as the candles were blown out, their father places the cake on the table and starts cutting it into eight pieces before placing two on four different plates and handing one to each member of the family, earning a 'thank you' from each one of them.
As soon as Olivia's plate was in front of her and once she had said her 'thank you' her father, she eagerly tucks into her two slices of cake with a grin as her eyes shine bright again...
But yet again her mother and fathers details weren't clear to her... no matter how hard she tried to picture them...

"Mom... I... I can't do it...!" A thirteen year old Olivia yells over her panting and heavy breath before screaming out in pain yet again, her body lurching forward.
"Yes you can! I believe in you!" Her mother yells out to her so she can hear her over the pain filled breaths that leaves her daughter.
"Please mom! Make it stop!" Another ear piercing scream leaves Olivia's mouth as she closes her eyes and tears come streaming down her face.
It was the night of the full moon, and the day after Olivia's thirteenth birthday, and yet here she sits next to her mother in agony in only a towel to cover her which is one reason why her brother or father isn't their to help. Olivia's body is burning up to the touch and sweat covers her entire form with only her mother to stop her from breaking and slipping into a death like state. Tonight was the night that Olivia turns into a wolf for the first time and its crucial that nothing stops her from changing tonight.
As the moon finally reaches its highest point, Olivia's body falls onto its hands and knees as her bones break constantly under her skin to get them into the right positions ready for what's to come. The sound of her daughter in this much pain kills her mother internally but sadly she knows it needs to happen. Hairs constantly grow all over Olivia's body and a snout forms itself from her face as a tail starts to break free from the bottom of her spine and the tip of it is visible under the towel. It takes a couple of minutes, each one of them filled with screams and the sound of bones breaking.
When the transformation is finally complete, Olivia shakes off the towel that's draping on her back and turns around to face her mother, the pain she was once feeling quickly disappears now that she is in this state. In the moonlight, her silky fur shimmers and her blue contacts fall out to reveal her pure pink eyes to match her fur. The pads at the bottom of her paws are smooth to the touch and are a darker shade then to the rest of her. Her mother starts crying in delight to how similar they look to each other and gently trails her hand through her daughters fur.
Olivia's eyes close as she nuzzles into her mothers loving touch but when she mover her hand away, Olivia's eyes open again to meet a grave expression on the face in front of her.
"No matter what my child... you must never let your brother or father find out what you are, just like I have done for many years. These two worlds must never cross too much and now you must travel like a rouge like I did until you find out which side you belong to. I know you'll make the right decision in the end."
But just like all the others, the emotion is clear on her face but I can't say what she looks like underneath the blur...

Olivia's POV
My heart becomes more and more damaged with every memory until it eventually breaks into many tiny pieces. The fire that once shone brightly in my eyes had finally gone out and my tears eventually run dry. I uncurl myself from the ground and shakes my body to get rid of all the dirt, leaves and dead grass of me as much as I can.
A few minutes later, I hear footsteps and I quickly change back into my human self and keeps my head down as to not show my eyes to a stranger. As the person comes closer, I notice it was just my brother who was wearing a worried and horrified expression on his face. He then took off his jacket and put it over my back to cover me as I then realised that I'm naked in front of my brother.
"I'll ask why you're out here alone, naked and have a few burns on your skin later but for now, lets get you home. Your lucky this place is so close to our house but I'll never understand why you went out so far..." He then picks me up bridal style, adjusting his jacket so it's covering my front as he cradles me close to his chest as he gets us home.
However what came next came to a shock to us both...
When we got back to our house, it too was aflame just like the forest I was just in and Jason almost dropped me thanks to the shock which make me start to look up but he quickly brought one hand to the back of my head to keep me there so I can't see. But he was too late. I could see everything clearly and my already broken heart had become even more destroyed; like someone got all the little pieces and threw them into a furnace as fuel.
Stood in front of our house was our farther with an insane smile on his face and in his hand was a lighter and in the other was aerosol. 'So HE was the reason behind it all!' I open my mouth to scream at him but I'm cut off by my brother exploding at our father.
"What the hell you fucking idiot! Why'd you set fire to our house?! You must've been the reason behind the forest fire as well! Do you realize the cost it's gonna take to get this repaired thanks to you and how much danger you put your own daughter in! And where is our mo-" he was cut off by a glare from our father directed at me and his words dripping with venom as he says harshly.
"I have no daughter... and you'd be advised to stay away from that monster as well... I've already taken care of that liar you call a 'mother' and now it's time to get rid of her as well..." He starts getting closer to us and Jason carefully places a dazed me on the floor as he goes over and punches our father directly in the face.
Whatever was said after that point I'll have no clue as I zone out. I couldn't handle hearing anything more. My thoughts were whirling around in my mind and even though I'm watching what's in front of me, I can't process anything. 'Did he find out what we are? Did he kill our mother and attempt to kill me at the same time because of that fact? How did he find out in the first place? Did my mother finally tell him or did we slip up somewhere when we transformed one time?'
I only come back to reality when my brother picks me up once again, his knuckles now bloody with I'm guessing is our fathers blood. As he takes me to his car, I glance over his shoulder to see a black and blue, heavily bleeding figure walking itself into the burning building just as the police cars show up. Once I'm seated and strapped in thanks to Jason, my vision starts to become blurry until I eventually pass out then and there.
"...ia... O...v... a... Ol via... Oli...a... Olivia... Olivia! Olivia...!? Honey?!"
