CHAPTER FORTY-SIX
-"Wake up. Jet, wake up,"-
Jet waved his hand over his ears to swat away the person whispering to him. But it hadn't worked. The voice continued to call for him. He let out a low groan as he tossed and turned around to face the wall side of his bed. He pulled his blanket more snugly around him.
-"Jet!"-
Jet jolted in his dream-induced state as he started to recognize the voice that he was trying hard to ignore. He bolted up from the bed and looked around his darkroom. His blackout curtain did its job at not letting even the smallest ray of sunlight to pierce through the room. Ao, the small crow with him, was most likely still asleep over her wooden perch by the corner of the room. Not like he could see but knowing the crow, if she was awake, she would have been bugging him to get out.
*"Alice? Seriously is that you?"*
