"Kill The baby?" Primo asked. They were inside the 50s diner talking about Lola. On their table were two empty plates and spoon and fork on the sides. The waitress came in and replaced the plates with sugar laced cinnamon bread.
"That's what she said to me. How she said it….just gave me chills. See my hands. I am still shaking from this madness."
Primo hummed. "That's interesting. I was about to call you about it."
Susa had a strange look on her face.
"What do you mean?" Primo looked up on the ceiling then ignored Susan's question entirely.
"This bread will melt in your mouth." Primo munched on the big slice of bread. "Taste so good."
Susana pushed the plate forward. "You can have mine. I am not eating."
"Hmm… You would regret not having this. That Lola could be lying you know."
"Is that what you are gonna tell me… She's lying about it."
"No. Not exactly. Did she charge you for the tarot reading?"
