"Not more than you." Song Jik whispers.
An Bin turns her head towards him and asks,"Did you say something?"
"Huh? No..uh..no." He scratches his head.
Suddenly An Bin stops. Song Jik walks past her but when he realizes she is not by his side he turn and asks,"What happened?"
An Bin says with a serious expression,"Something serious happened."
Song Jik walks to her and asks,"Yah! What happened?"
"My cousin's house is here." She points at the house to her right and pouts.
Song Jik laughs. "Yah! I got scared."
An Bin laughs.
"So, I'll go in then. And thank you for this." An Bin lifts up the shopping bag, indicating the dog food that he let her get.
"Oh, that's fine. Go in. I'll leave after that." Song Jik smiles.
And An Bin is done. She screams in her head,"WHY IS HE SO CUTE!!!"
She walks to the gate but just before getting in she turns and says,"I'll treat you sometime for this generosity." She indicates towards the shopping bag.
Song Jik smiles and says,"Ok."
An Bin gets inside the house and Song Jik leaves.
Bae Young runs to An Bin and hugs her with all her might.
"Binbin! Finally you are here! I missed you so much." Bae Young pouts.
"Baebae! I missed you too!" An Bin plays along in a dramatic tone.
They both laugh at this and gets inside the house.
"You look extremely happy for some reason and it definitely isn't because you went to buy dog food."Bae Young points out.
An Bin does an extra shy and dramatic expression and says,"Yes."
An Bin tells her the whole story of Song Jik.
Bae Young sighs and says,"You are a child. How can you think someone is rude because he didn't answer to your question instantly."
"Then why didn't he answer?" An Bin asks still confused.
Bae Young shrugs and says,"I don't know. Maybe love at first sight or something."
An Bin shouts,"YAH!"
But inside her heart she was squealing for some reason she even didn't know.
Next few days went by pretty normally nothing really happened. More specifically Song Jik didn't happen. Though whenever they saw each other they exchanged smile but it still made An Bin's heart flutter.
It was the weekend and An Bin was bored as ever.
She turned her Netflix on to watch anything interesting. She was searching through the trendings. Suddenly the phone rings.
An Bin picks up the call and answers,"Baebae! I'm bored."
Bae Young says,"Perfect! Do something for me."
"I'm not working for you again and I also didn't get my ramen treat!"
"Stop bothering me. Go and find a boy to feed you ramen. No, no, tell Song Jik or what his name is!"
An Bin literally shouts,"YAH! Don't call me ever again!"
An Bin was about to cut the call. But...
Bae Young pleads,"Ah! Sorry! Sorry! Please listen to me."
An Bin asks in an annoyed tone,"Now what?"
"I have this really important project to do. So I have to go to a construction site to do it."
"Keep up the good work engineer. Bye."
"Yah! I'm not done. You have to look after Paw for me."
An Bin shakes her head as if Bae Young could see her,"Not doing!"
Bae Young rambles out,"Please! For today only. You just have to take him to the park and feed him. I'll pick him from yours after I'm done. Please just this once. I'll do whatever you want. Pretty please." She finally takes breathe.
"Okay. Okay. Calm down. I'll do it for you. Don't worry. Mannnn! Then I'm coming to pick Paw up."
An Bin hangs up the call and get up from her couch. She walks to her closet and gets into an outfit.
She walks to Bae Young's house.
"Baby! I'm home." An Bin gets inside the house.
Bae Young runs up to An Bin's arms and hugs her.
Bae Young pulls from the hug and says,"I love you baby. So you taking him to your house?"
"I guess so. Come to my house after you are done with work. Let's eat pizza tonight. Pizza's on you." An Bin points at Bae Young and wraps Paw around her arms.
Bae Young salutes her and says,"Yes,ma'am!"
An Bin gets out of the house and walks to the direction of her house. But on her way there was a park so she looks at Paw.
An Bin asks,"Paw! Do you wanna go and run around the park a bit?"
Paw barks.
"So let's go!"
An Bin puts Paw on the ground and Paw runs towards the park. An Bin runs after him.
She picks up a stick and throws it on the other side of the park. Paw runs towards that direction and comes back with the stick in his mouth.
They play like this for some time. But suddenly An Bin looks at the stairs at the entrance of the park and she is feeling as if she won a lottery.
An Bin screams in her head,"HOW CAN SOMEONE LOOK SO CUTE!!!"
Song Jik looks at her and waves his hand at her. An Bin does the same. Song Jik walks up to her and lets Sim on the ground. As soon as Sim hits the grass he runs around Song Jik circling him.
An Bin says,"Looks like we are hitting a lot of coincidences. Oh! Look at him."
An Bin leans down and starts to play with Sim.
Song Jik smiles and says,"So, you are here too?"
"Yeah, my cousin left her dog with me. I guess it's gonna be fun if we come here to play a bit. Right Paw?"
Paw barks.
"Nice." Song Jik smiles."Come, let's play,Sim."
Sim barks.
An Bin says mockingly,"Ohhh! Someone is listening to his master."
Song Jik replies,"Everyone should listen to the master." Then he whispers,"Babygirl."
An Bin asks,"Huh? Did you says something?"
Song Jik laughs to himself,"No, come let's play."
They play catch-catch and run around the park.
An Bin says breathing heavily,"Ah! I'm tired."
"Yeah, me too." Song Jik agrees.
"I'm hungry. Let's eat something." An Bin proposes.
"Fine with me. What do you want to have?" Song Jik asks before drinking some water from the water bottle that they bought earlier.
An Bin asks without any hesitation,"Do you wanna have ramen?"(In Korean asking to eat ramen with someone from opposite gender is something like Netflix and chill.😏)
Song Jik spits water from him mouth and asks,"What?!"
