Chapter 7 - six

I feel the rush

Rising in my veins,

Slithering the darkness,

Killing demon that feigns.

Concern and kindness

That were never heartfelt,

Innocence and gratitude

Choked my neck like a belt.

That tightened the more I cried in plight,

Gave wounds that hurt when I said it wasn't right.

It Scratched the scabs before they even healed,

I was tied to you with a thread you reeled.

The tears which fell burned my skin,

And the words you yell split my mind,

'Cause it was my fault I followed you in,

This room that no one else can find.
