Julia's stamina is getting better.
She's learnt how to breathe in order to run laps without collapsing on the ground at the end of the training, and her punches are getting more serious.
Her reflexes are improving every day a bit more, even faster than before she had my blood. She didn't show any hint of thirst, so I dropped my worries and focused on making her stronger.
She'll be able to defend herself even if I'm not around, and this is the most relevant aspect.
We will leave in a few days, so I've increased the pace to allow us to rest the day before departure. Julia didn't complain and just endured the distress, clenching her teeth and nodding her head every time I pushed her a step over her limits.
Also, no matter how exhausting the exercises, she always has some extra energy left for eating. And for love.
«What are we going to do tomorrow?» she inquires, standing in front of the door to her bedroom. Is she considering what to wear?
