It took a war between vampires and hunters to make Leo realise that seizing the moment is the way to go. But it was worth it if he now understood!
He even bought protection. I can't imagine how hard it has been to find. But yet, in a city full of humans, this kind of thing circulates... I guess.
Leo sits on the bed and leaves the package on the bedside table, not too far from the candle. If anything happens and the flame reaches it...
Oh, I don't want to delay it any more than this.
I reach out and move the candle a bit farther. Just to be safe.
Then, I grab Leo's shoulder. He's still turned to the door, so I can lean on his back and peck his cheek from behind. I leave a trace of light kisses on his jaw and reach his lips when he turns his head.
His arms surround me, and he presses me down, keeping his weight on the elbows not to inconvenience me too much.
