After leaving the room, I head to the outer part of the city. Not many wander so far.
When I reach my destination, I realise it's the middle of the night.
Whatever, I might as well give it a try. Also, it's an emergence.
I knock at the door, but no one replies.
It's no surprise, given the hour. But dawn will come soon, and Robert wakes up early. He should hear me if I knock a bit harder.
«Stop it, already!» a male voice shouts from inside. «You'll have to pay if you ruin my door!»
A set of heavy steps later, I can walk in.
Robert glares at me, wondering what am I doing here without notifying him in advance.
«I need some blood,» I say.
He nods, letting me inside.
«No questions? No complaints about the sudden appearance?» I ask.
«Oh, a lot of them. But you wouldn't be here if it wasn't important.»
«It is,» I confirm.
