Julia doesn't feel as cold this time.
Maybe, it's because it lasted shorter than usual, so she didn't lose too much blood. Or maybe, she's getting used to the loss.
Instead of falling asleep, she lets the towel slip down and leans on me with her weight, barely noticeable. Just a shiver reminds me that she needs warmth.
And I happen to have plenty now.
«Julia,» I start, but she doesn't let me finish.
Her lips find mine, and her tongue slips into my mouth. Her fingers press on my face, making it impossible for me to turn away. Her sighs tickle me, and her body, now chillier, reminds me once again of her needs.
«Wait,» I murmur.
She backs away just the second I need to take off my shirt, and she returns to kiss me soon after. I hug her, trying to convey some of my warmth to her.
