Scorcher and Celina moved out into the hangar, joining the battle against the savages, helping their allies. While they were in the command center, some of their allies had fallen to the number of enemies down there. Joining the fight, the Wardens had the upper hand against the enemy. Scorcher and Celina entered the battle effortlessly, Celina picking up one of the enemy's weapons and swinging for their heads. Scorcher was making his way through the crowd, towards the opening of the hangar, to make sure Train Trek, Trouble and A.M.Y. were making their way up. Running a sword through an enemy that was about to pummel one of the Wardens and saving the bot, Scorcher threw the body to another savage, knocking the man down and cutting his head off.
Scorcher approached the opening, looking down and seeing the three running towards the opening. Scorcher shook his head due to the lack of using their ship, but also due to the static growing in a certain direction. Scorcher turned to where the static was the most intense and felt the odd feeling that he needed to approach it. He slowly moved towards the pain and saw that the static began to shrink. Fighting through the pain, he approached and forced the static to dissipate. One the static was gone, it was revealed to be a lift control. Scorcher input commands and a portion of the floor in front of him began to lower. Looking down, it appeared to be approaching the surface where his three companions were. Nodding, he turned to see a savage charging him. Fighting smart, Scorcher stood still until the foe would have tackled him and stepped to the side. The foe, unable to stop, ran right off and fell down to the surface.
Train and the other two stopped in front of the face of the mountain, watching as it slid down into the planet. They then looked up to see a bot flying with style straight into the ground, breaking into thousands of parts. "Well, the Scrappers are gonna have fun poking through that." Trek commented, returning his focus to the lift. Train Trek held the handle of his hammer tightly, watching as the platform approached their level. A.M.Y. spun up her Ion Displacer, and Trouble checked his EMP Shotgun as the lift halted and allowed them to climb on. The three moved onto the platform and Train Trek activated it, causing the lift to begin moving once more, this time up, back to the hangar and to the base proper.
The three turned to face away from the mountain and to look at the closest city, but what caught their eyes was the large purple being falling right out of the sky. "Hopefully the Autobots can handle that thing on their own." Train said before turning around once more. The lift reached the hangar, and Scorcher was waiting for them. The situation had deteriorated, and the savages finally realized they were being attacked when more Wardens emerged from the abandoned sections of the base carrying ranged weapons. They finally got their systems together and regrouped and managed to raise an alarm. The Wardens were slowly making sure that the savages were held at the main passage that lead deeper into their hole. Train, A.M.Y. and Trouble made their way to the crates Scorcher was using as cover, taking pot shots at the savages. "What do you need boss?" Train Trek said, his voice filled with eager.
Scorcher looked at Train Trek, a smirk spreading on his face. "Mow them down."
Train began laughing with excitement, transforming his hammer back into his body and pulling out a large shield. Walking out of the cover, the false wardens drew their attention to the new target. Train Trek began running forward, the shield deflecting all projectiles away and back towards their direction. He made contact with one of them, lifting him off the ground and carrying him forward. He picked up a few more, the bodies he was carrying caused him to veer off course. He ran into a wall, which was followed by a loud crunch and then by a million pieces falling to the hangar floor. 'These foes were rather brittle,' Scorcher thought to himself as he watched Train pull out an ion blaster and slowly approach the opening, 'I'm surprised these guys are able to fight anyone at all.' The savages began to fall back deeper into the mountain, and some of the Wardens began to celebrate while others moved on the entrance, keeping the pressure on the ones who had imprisoned them. Scorcher, Celina and the team regrouped, gathering in the center of the hangar.
"Alright, I know we were here a while ago, but we don't know what Warlord has done to the place, plus how may more of those things there are in the base, stay on your guard." Scorcher ordered, preparing his blasters. The other four nodded and followed him towards the entrance. Once Scorcher reached the Wardens who were at the door way, He addressed one. "Warden, I need you to not follow us in." The Warden turned, his face covered up by his helmet, but Scorcher knew the expression was surprise. "I need you to evacuate our brothers and sisters and take them to Iacon. Tell the Autobots that you're with Scorcher. Optimus will see that our people are healed." Scorcher could see that the Warden wanted to protest, but instead he nodded.
"We'll close the door behind you, sir." The Warden replied, getting a nod from Scorcher in return. Scorcher began moving forward once more, entering the passage, followed by his team. Train Trek had to bend over to fit through the door way. The five prepared themselves, and were about to continue. But they were stopped. "Scorcher, sir!" The Warden called, drawing the attention of all five of them. Scorcher focused on the Warden he had spoke to, who removed his helmet to reveal his scarred face. A large scratch ran down the left side of his face, causing the eye to not function properly and appear white, standing out from his functional blue eye. "Tell the big bastard that Barrage sends his regards." Scorcher confirmed the message that the Warden wanted delivered, and Barrage nodded to his fellow Wardens, the doors beginning to close. Scorcher returned to face forward and raised his weapons.
"Stick tight, squad. We enter the belly of the beast now."
