I've told Ayla I am not leaving for Elytheia unless we have reliable transportation, and I am keeping to that word. Alex's group is going by flying car, and Lyra's group is going to be riding magical horses. That leaves no transportation left for us except for that dragon that Ayla tamed. And although the dragon can fly people around, that does not mean it can carry over twenty people across the seas.
The best thing to do now is wait and hope that the others have luck with forming alliances. I'm pretty sure the Dynatos school will help us. The head teacher Finn has also sent out a message to the other countries and to the cities in Crystalline to gather up their armies. They'll all know that unity is the best way to defend Zyrinx. Note that I said best way, not the right way.
But I'm not sure about the Mortisians. Although I'm positive they won't give in to Zarina's reign, that doesn't mean they'll help us. Moritisians have always been the misty, shadowy type. They'll be able to protect their own. Their castle is built for holding out against nuclear attacks. If I were them, I'd just stay where I was. I would be safe, with no danger of getting killed.
If we're able to get help from the Mortisians, that will mean about 2,500 more students added to our makeshift 'army'. The other soldiers will be too busy defending their own homes, but citizens from Sophix might be able to help. What we really need is Crystalline material- the best and strongest kinds weapons made by spirits. But unless we can find a way to lift the enchanted mist thingy from Crystalline city, there is no hope for new weapons.
After a three days of waiting, one of the two missions we sent out returned. Alex came back with everyone unscathed. He said that the Dynatos school would help if the Mortisians would join us as well. So it's up to Lyra and her group. The outcomes of their 'mission' will make or break our cause. She'll be the one to decide whether we have 4,000 more allies or none at all.
