Chapter 2 - The Garrison

The Imperial drop ship approached the landing pad, the landing gear extending itself. As the drop ship's landing gear touched the platform, the people watched in fear as they saw the Imperial symbol on the nose of the ship. The ramp lowered and ten red troops marched down the ramp. The regular conscripts cheered when seeing the red soldiers marching down. The people continued to stare in fear, wondering why the Empire would send these terrifying soldiers.

Then the ten formed two lines, allowing Will to walk down the ramp. His armor, similar to his troops, had many accessories on it. The right shoulder had a blaster attached to it, and both his forearms were equipped with versions of the Super Battle Droid Blaster cannons and wrist rockets. He held his helm in between his left hand and hip, and saluted the commander of the planet's resident garrison. The commander returned the salute.

"Will, we received word you were coming. Glad to know that the Empire is sparing no expense when it comes to-" He was cut off by the sound of an explosion to the north, catching the attention of everyone. The civilians began to panic, running away from where the conflict was taking place. Will looked to the commander.

"Keep these people safe. We'll handle this." Will said, placing the helmet on. The eyes began to glow a bright red, and he looked to where the explosion had occurred. He spoke to his Red Death, his voice deep and altered. "Let's show these thieves what happens when you mess with the Empire. For the Emperor!" Will shouted, his troops cheered, firing their E-11D blasters to the intruders.

Will raised one of his arms, firing his cannon. He spotted one of the invaders getting too close and put an end to his life. As the body fell over, Will spotted the emblem of the Rebellion on the shoulder of the body and groaned.

"Alright men, we've got rebel scum. Try and keep one alive so I can question him" he ordered, walking forwards. His troops all gave a sound of compliance, and pushed forwards with Will. The rebels, seeing that these Imperial Troopers were different from the ones that couldn't aim, began to fall back. Getting out of cover, each rebel that did so was quickly filled with burning holes. Will raised his arm to a large group huddled together and fired a rocket.

A rebel saw the rocket and tried to warn his allies. "Watch the wrist rocket!" But it was too late. The rebels in that group were turned into pieces. The rebel released a yelp and fired back, managing to make one of the troopers stumble, but his life ended before he could get off another shot.

William watched as the remaining rebels managed to escape back into the nearby forest. He raised his hand, ordering his troopers to halt. "Check to see if any of these bodies are still breathing." The troopers complied, moving around the carnage they had just left.

The commander approached William, two Storm Troopers escorting him. "Excellent work, Captain. I shall speak of your outstanding performance in my report." He said, looking past William and to the bodies that the Red Death had made. William simply nodded, turning around to see one of his troopers approach. He could still hear the static that the helmets made, but he could hear the trooper's voice more clearly with his helmet than before.

"Sir, all of these rebels are dead. But we discovered that they were already on the planet when they attacked. We scouted and found no trace of a ship nearby. They walked here." The trooper reported. William nodded, turning back to the commander.

"I require territorial data of the surrounding forest." He marched towards the garrison's large structure, which towered over the other houses in the town. This town reminded him of his own homeland, but now was not the time for sentimental emotions. William had to hunt rebels.
