"What?!" Ivy's face immediately flushed, and her whole body turned red with embarrassment. "No, no!" she vigorously waved her arms and shook her head in denial, "We are definitely not in that kind of relationship!"
"Ah, I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable, Ivy," Tara apologized, trying to explain her reasoning. "It's just that I saw you walk into Mr Liam's room one night and never come out after that. And when you were unconscious, he was incredibly attentive and caring towards you. It just seemed like there might be something more."
Ivy took a deep breath to calm her racing heart, "I understand why you might think that, but I assure you, there's really nothing going on between us. We're just friends, and he was helping me with something that night."
