It took a while for us to reach the kingdom, but we made it under two days' time without any disruptions. As we got home, everyone unpacked and soon enough everyone got to their usual everyday routines.
I'm really surprised that everything is still in its place. But I still can't help but feel that something terrible will happen. Since I didn't have anything to do, I decided to help around the village. I helped with gardening, fixes around the houses and any other damages that has been done from the last fight with Alex. It took awhile for me to get used to the different tools, but I had a few teachers to tell me how to use them.
"Thank you, princess. And thank you earthlings." the fairies thanked us as we completed.
"No worries. Let me know if you need anymore help with anything else." I said.
Lucas, Luna, Theo and I decided to further explore the kingdom, so we asked Noah to join us since he knows where everything is.
"Explore around the kingdom, huh? So what do you guys want to see first?" Noah asked, agreeing to go with us.
"Wherever looks cool!" Lucas exclaimed.
"Alright, I know a perfect place to go."
Noah ended up showing us every corner of the palace and places we already been.
"Noah, this is boring! I thought we said we wanted to see something cool!" I said, annoyed.
"Wait for it. Follow me." Noah whispered.
"Noah, we've been following you. And why are you whispering?"
We entered a library and ended up in the way back. Then Noah pulled a lever and we entered a room that looked almost like the mystery garden. Although this one has a pool.
"Now this is what I'm talking about!" Lucas laughed.
"This is the place where my friends and I would sneak into while everyone is asleep." Noah explained.
"Mom and dad don't know about this place?" I asked.
"I think they do, but they don't that I know." Noah mischievously, smiled.
"Noah, you rebel."
"Eh, what can I say, I'm legendary."
"Yeah, yeah whatever." I said, rolling my eyes.
"Since we had a long day of work, how about we say we go for a swim?" Luna suggested.
"That would be refreshing, actually. I'm in!" I exclaimed.
"We're in too!" Theo and Lucas joined in.
Before Noah left, he had said that we should keep this place a secret. To be honest, we didn't know why and Noah wouldn't tell us either. It's beautiful and a peaceful place.
So the rest of us hurried to our rooms and grabbed swimwear and stuffed it in a bag. Then we snuck back to the library and pulled the lever. Thankfully their were bathrooms where we can change into our swim wear. But I was really uncomfortable with wearing swimsuits that expose my skin too much.
"Luna, I don't know about this," I said flushed with embarrassment, coming out with my swimsuit. "You guys should go in, I'll watch. Besides, I don't know how to swim."
"Don't be silly, you look adorable. Plus, we'll teach you how to swim."
"But-"
"Come on, it's gonna be fun. Don't worry about how you look. We're gonna make memories."
Luna was right. I shouldn't care, but I never done this before.
Think about all the memories we're gonna make, Gabriella.
Later, we ended up having a good time without thinking about the situation we are in now. I learned how to swim. And I eventually came out of my shell.
I wish we could do this more often...
