Ogre's Descent(Active Skill) When your HP reached 20% active skill Ogre's Descent could be activated. All your stats will rise up to 40% and will be immune to all damages for 4 seconds.
Description: Sword created by using an Ogre's Tusk. It contains the very essence of the Ogre's body.
He also has the passive skill 'Bloodthirst' which raised his HP every time he attacked his enemy so he can still stand toe to toe with the boss.
To be honest, he didn't expect the last boss to be this strong. His damage and skills combined with his own intelligence, wits, and battle experience made him formidable.
Air pressure gathered through the boss' spear. His cape fluttered and his green body started to glow. His red and golden speared looked larger than before.
Kite sensed the threat. He immediately turned around and flee.
But the Hobgoblin King was much faster!
Dragon Tooth!
He threw his spear towards Kite with tremendous speed. The kid has no choice but to either dodge or parry the attack.
Kite bend his knees and approached the spear directly. Since he can't dodge it, he should just go to it. This will add to his momentum making his attack more powerful. Speed equals power.
Wolf Bite!
Moon Slash Technique.
The green wolf behind Kite's sword turned silvery green. On its forehead was a pure silver half-moon. It opened its maw and devoured the incoming skill.
*BOOM*
The whole palace crumbled from the aftershocks. Even Vanessa took 4 steps backward before she can stabilize her footings.
She looked around and saw a bloody man pierced with a spear on his shoulder. When she realized it was Kite she rushed towards him.

Finally! Kite shouted in his mind. He was about to pull the spear embedded in his own body when Vanessa arrived.
"Are you okay? Let me help you with this!" She gently pulled the spear from Kite's body.

After the spear was pulled off, blood poured out from the hole in his shoulder. Vanessa was worried to the extreme. She accessed her storage ring and pulled out her most precious potion. "Drink this!" She offered.

Ogre's Descent!
His body grew larger. His handsome face turned into an ugly one. His body color change from white to green. Just like goblins, ogres are a more powerful side branch in the same race. So his body shape and color were the exact copy of the Hobgoblin King. If it wasn't for his ugly face.

Kite didn't hesitate and drink the whole content of the potion after the skill effect took place. He still has to be careful around this Boss. Who knew what will happen to him when he took one of those powerful attacks again.

Before he could finish his sentence, the King had finally made its move. He was currently wielding the spear he threw earlier.
Chop!
He slashed his spear in a diagonal direction and aimed to split Kite into two.
"Fuck off!"
Kite didn't move. He stood up in the exact place he was pierced earlier. He still has the immune status which came from the equipment skill he activated.
A strange barrier appeared just inches away from his skin. It was colorless and was not visible to the naked eye. But somehow Kite could feel the barrier around him.
When using immunity active or passive skill, it still depended on strength. If your enemy's level was 5 times higher than yours then the effect will lessen. And the time for the immunity to remain will continue to decrease in time the larger the level disparity.
But it's not just the level. If your enemy has the same level or was slightly higher, it will still depend if he/she used a powerful skill or technique. Or sometimes if his/her weapon was a higher grade.
That was the same in Kite's current situation. The King's spear was higher in quality and the skill he used was a powerful one. The supposed 4 seconds immunity turned into 1.75 seconds only.
Kite smash the spear away from him before he felt the barrier being destroyed.
'That was too close!' Kite didn't know the rules regarding skills and techniques. He just felt his barrier breaking so he immediately reacted by swinging his sword to get away from the trajectory of the spear.
Vanessa was just near Kite. When she saw the exchange between the two, she reacted by moving away from the battle to take distance. Her role was only to support her lover.
Stone Arrow!
She fired an arrow with blinding speed. The boss, who was still busy exchanging blows with Kite, was hit. He was stunned for half a second and returned to normal. But that slight stun was able to make Kite pierced the boss and shed some of his HP. Between battles that involved speed, a slight misstep will cause death.

Kite didn't hesitate and let go of his own sword. The spear stabbed nothing and Kite didn't take any damage. But Kite exchange taking damage by losing his weapon in the process. He was now barehanded.
He looked at his hands and realized...

Without his sword, he practically doesn't have anything to defend from that steel spear. A knife could slice a hand but a hand could never slice a knife. Plus the spear was three meters long. His opponent's reach is longer than his hand.
"Vanessa hold him for me!" If he couldn't find a way to defeat this monster he will do his very best to escape from this situation. Even if he can revive million times and redo all his mistakes, who knew if there was a price to pay to go back in time. He knew there was no such thing as a freebie in this world. If so why did Jax died while he possessed this ring? Because of his level? But he was literally a God. There may be some price to activate the time-reversal ability and that's not simply because of the level. It may be the accumulation of negative karma? But he didn't suffer any setbacks till now. But upon thinking about it, the first tragedy that happened after he revived first was the Hidden Boss. And the second tragedy was maybe this Last Boss that has a high amount of intelligence after the second death.
"Is the price of reviving suffering something?" He murmured to himself.
