You're not very sure what's happening right now but if you have any common sense you might think that Nick wants the attacker to untie him and fight him one-on-one. The man towering over Nick isn't a small man and by small you mean he's almost as chiseled as Nick are, maybe even bigger. It's not that you don't think that Nick can't take him, it's just that should the man get in some sort of a punch, Nick would be in severe pain.
You see the man staring Nick down as if he's contemplating his words. Nick just smiles at him and he mocks him with his look on his face, hoping to draw him out. He looks over to the man standing behind you as if they are talking to each other without actually talking and then he put his hands on Nick's chair armrests.
"You are very brave for a small man like you"
"If you're so sure of yourself, then I won't be able to even touch you. So what are you so afraid of?"
