Nick and his team are running as fast as their legs can carry them. They've been trained for months even years before they've made it to the rank of a Navy Seal, to run far distances with heavy bags on their back. Exhaustion doesn't play a role in a Navy Seal but Nick has something extra that could potentially drag him down and that's the intense pain radiating from his leg. It's clear to him that the pain isn't going away but he will not give a moment his attention to it.
They've been running for almost half an hour now and they still need to go a long way. The wind has been picking up and they can see the clouds starting to grow darker. Nick's thoughts are now completely focused on you and no one and nothing can take you away from him. He realizes that he's been a fool to keep you at a distance. He knows that you have a boyfriend but he's decided that he's going to let you know how he feels anyway.
