Jace' POV
Mr. Norton gives me enough time to read the contract, and I am amazed that my duties and responsibilities are still the same except I am no longer called the Elite Bodyguard. But the figures for my compensation are still the same. Another thing that caught my attention, I don't have a graveyard shift. The schedule of my work is only during the day, but I don't care about being on the graveyard shift, maybe Thomas White gives us a chance to have a date. It made me wonder how am I going to date Miracle? Am I allowed to ask her for a date?
I sign the contract after I have finished reading it for what matters most to me is to see Miracle whatever stipulations are in there. I handed the contract to Mr. Norton, and I felt nervous when he looked at me seriously.
"Jace! Are you willing to court Thomas White's daughter?" He asked, and I just nodded.
