The fire energy that Lex used had a wisp of the Hell Blaze Flame within it, even though he wasn't directly using it, as it had integrated with his Fire Manipulation Eye.
He was only able to use 1000th of the power that the Hell Blaze Flame had and it wasn't even the actual Hell Blaze Flame and was only an extension of its power, that the Eye Demon had passed onto him and allowed him to use.
The actual Hell Blaze Flame was still within the Eye Demon's soul and it made Lex wonder what's its true full power was capable of and what cultivation level he would have to reach in order to be able to use it.
He was also curious as to what and how Ella blocked his attack and it somehow was able to dispel the energy that was around his fist, that had a wisp of the Hell Blaze Flame, which he was using to increase the power of his attack.
