Sleepover at Izumi's. And I don't know a lot about sleepovers, but I think this is a great place for them: there's always lots of foot at the fridge, there aren't any parents around ever, the neighbors apparently got used to Izumi's horrible music, there must be booze somewhere…
We could have made some many parties and sleepovers here.
But we're not popular, we're not shallow people whose only virtue is their charisma or their parent's money, and who's always looking for any excuse to celebrate their mediocrity, to have fun at the expense of everything and everyone, to mock and humiliate everyone else to feel superior, and to get wasted to forget their sad, pathetic and empty existence; we're just a bunch of weirdos who ostracize ourselves because we can't stand the world around us, so we spend all night watching Baka-chan, an anime about the adventures of a total dumbass and a total bitch who are clearly in love of each other but their never confess their love because one is a total dumbass who doesn't think he's in love even though he totally is, and the other one is a total bitch who doesn't accept she's in love even though she totally is.
Just accept it already: you love him! You're not fooling anyone!
But, anyway, I'd rather be here than at home, where my parents are always following me everywhere and asking me: "Everything, Ino-chan? Is it true that you got into a fight at school, Ino-chan? We're not mad, Ino-chan. We just want to know what happened, Ino-chan. We're always here to help you, Ino-chan." Mind your own business! If I didn't tell you the first time, I'm never going to tell you! Why don't you just shut up and leave me alone?! IT'S MY LIFE, LET ME LIVE IT! I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU!
"So, are we watching that baka-chan thing all night or are we doing something fun?" I ask when the credits of the umpteenth episode appear.
"But we're just one episode away from the season finale," says Izumi, the otaku.
"I want to know if Sakura finally confesses to Baka-chan. I hope they do; they'll make a beautiful couple ♥" says Sotoka-san, the otaku.
"…" says Khanna-san, the otaku.
"Wow, it seems you all are already a bunch of otaku," says I, the only non-otaku here.
"I TOLD YOU WE'RE NOT OTAKU!" Izumi, the otaku, yells. "YOU'RE THE OTAKU!" Izumi yells her usual bs, as always, but sometimes I can't help but be surprised at her stupidity.
"What? You really think I'm an otaku?"
"Yeah, you were really entertained watching Baka-chan."
"You too, and watching an anime doesn't make me an otaku."
"RIGHT?!" the otaku yells at me. "BUT YOU STILL CALL ME OTAKU ALL THE TIME!"
"That's because you watch ALL the anime!"
"Nuh-uh; there's too many of 'em, and not all of 'em are good, and you're the otaku."
"I'm not an otaku."
"That's what otaku love to say, and they also call everyone otaku."
"Thats what you're doing right now! You fulfill all the otaku requirements. Otaku."
"No, I only called you an otaku. Otaku. But you called all of us otaku. Otaku."
"It's not my fault you all are a bunch of otaku. And of anyone of us is and otaku it's you, otaku."
"I'M NOT AN OTAKU!"
"That's what otaku love to say."
"I'M NOT AN OTAKU! YOU'RE THE OTAKU!"
"That's exactly what otaku love to say."
"Hey, you two, stop it," Sotoka-san puts herself between us. "None of us are otaku, and can leave the rest of the Baka-chan season to tomorrow."
"But tomorrow we'll go back to school," Khanna-san finally says something, and it's true: our two-week vacation, I mean, suspension is over.
I bet tomorrow we'll get back to school, and everyone will stare at us and whisper things like: "there they are, the bitches who fought the soccer team", "because of them the almighty and unmatchedly popular Yuri Okabe-chan-sama left the team", "they should've expelled them", "I'm super-glad they were the only ones suspended; I mean, the soccer team were the ones who started everything and were the ones who kicked their asses pretty hard, but they're popular, though, so no one can punish them or scold them or even touch them because that's how this disgusting society works" and things among those lines.
And the worst of all is that we can't do anything about it but wait until they get bored or forget about us—like they always end up doing.
And the worst worst of all is because we missed two weeks of class we have to catch up with homeworks, reports, projects and all that stuff.
Oh, god, why didn't they suspend us like a month or two.
It even makes you want to get into another fight to get suspended again.
But I think the school will expel us if we do that.
So what? Worst case scenario we don't go to college, so we don't get a nice job.
But nice job or not, it's not like we can escape this shit we call life.
Money or no money we're going to suffer all the same.
Maybe that's why people rather suffer with money than without.
But you'll suffer anyways, so why bother?
"Whatever. Tomorrow's school but it's not tomorrow yet," says Izumi outta nowhere.
"Technically it is," says Khanna-san; "it's past midnight."
"So? The day doesn't end until you fall asleep," that's not how it works, and I make sure to tell her:
"That's not how it works."
"SHUT UP, INO! NO ONE ASKED YOU!" Izumi yells at me the same bs she always yells at me when she doesn't know what to say.
"But Ino-san's right," finally Khanna-san supports me; "it's past midnight, and that's why the best thing we can do is to go to sleep right now; tomorrow we'll need as much energy as possible.
Oh, Khanna-san, you're so boring.
But if we're only watching TV, let's go to sleep already.
"Sleeping? Energy? That's what coffee's for, and you can sleep in class," Izumi replies, and finally I agree with her. "Let's seize our youth, and this sleepover."
"In that case you got any videogames?" asks Khanna-san.
"I sold them," Izumi replies.
"You got any board games?" asks Sotoka-san.
"I sold them," Izumi replies.
"You got something besides manga and anime?" I ask.
"I sold it," Izumi replies.
Well, that shouldn't surprise us from the weirdo who sold her own bed, but if she sold her bed, then:
"Where are we going to sleep?" I ask.
Izumi stares at me like I just asked something really stupid, but I think the really stupid thing here is to invite us to a sleepover when you don't even have a bed, and it's not like we were all going to sleep there, but there's only two couches here, and we won't fit in there.
"Ino-san's right," Khanna-san supports me again and starts explaining why I'm right, which I've already explained, so I'm not writing it again.
"But there's my parent's bed," says Izumi, and it's true. But isn't it weird to sleep there? "You can sleep here, on the couches, if you want, and I and Sotoka-chan are sleeping there."
"WHAT?!" Sotoka-san yells. "No, no, no, no, no, I don't want to sleep with anyone. I'll sleep here alone."
"So Hanna-senpai and Ino can go to the bed upstairs, and I and Sotoka-chan will stay here."
"No, Izumi-chan, you can sleep in that bed if you want, and I'll stay here," Sotoka-san says that because she obviously doesn't want to sleep with Izumi close, and I don't blame her: I bet Izumi would be telling her bs all night long. I can imagine her going like: "SoToKa-ChAn, SoToKa-ChAn, DaIsKy Des (or whatever she says)… SoToKa-ChAn, SoToKa-ChAn, LeT's TaLk AbOuT sOmE oTaKu StUfF 'cAuSe ThAt'S tHe OnLy ThInG i KnOw… SoToKa-ChAn, SoToKa-ChAn…"
How annoying.
"No, Sotoka-chan!" Izumi, the crazy otaku, yells. "I wanna sleep next to you! And I always sleep in my gamer chair. I don't need no bed."
"No, you do," Sotoka-san replies: "you haven't slept in a regular bed in quite a while. Your must have back pain all the time and—
Izumi, as impulsive as ever, hugs Sotoka-san without her proper consent.
"AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! YOU WORRY ABOUT ME, SOTOKA-CHAN! ¡DAISUKI, DAISUKI, DAISUKI, DAISUKI, DAISUKI DESU!"
"Yeah, sure, but let me go, Izumi-san," Sotoka-san's cries are as useless as her efforts to push Izumi away.
"Well, since we are not doing anything productive and none of us intend to go to sleep, I propose we play truth or dare," says Khanna-san outta nowhere. But it could be fun to watch those three play. And I'll be the one asking/daring Izumi.
Yeah, it could be very, very fun.
"It's a famous game for sleepovers, I think," Khanna-san explains uselessly. "I don't know its exact rules, but we can search for them online."
"Yeah, let's play that!" Izumi yells and lets Sotoka-chan go. "You start, Sotoka-chan, and I dare you to hug me."
Clever girl, but:
"That's not how the game goes, Izumi-san," Khanna-san says. "You have to ask truth or dare to Hamano-san, and depending of her answer, you'll ask her a question or dare her to do something."
Izumi stared madly at Khana-san.
"Blame the game, not the player, Izumi," I defend Khanna-san, and we're even now.
"Sure, whatever," Izumi says, and then turns towards Sotoka-san and her face lights up immediately. "Truth or dare, Sotoka-chan? Dare, right? You want a dare, right, Sotoka-chan?"
"No. Truth," Sotoka-san replies predictably.
"Truth?!" Izumi exclaims. "Truths are boring; dares are more fun. Pick dare, Sotoka-chan."
"No, truth's fine," replies Sotoka-san, and Izumi starts thinking what to ask.
Wow, I've never seen Izumi so concentrated before.
Maybe Izumi is not as dumb as she seems and end up asking something incredibly smart.
"Truth… truth… ehhhhhhhhh… can you hug me, Sotoka-chan?"
Or maybe she really is as dumb as she seems.
Anyway, this is fun!
"I mean, I can, but I don't want to, right now. Sorry, but thanks anyway," Sotoka-san replies. "Now it's your turn, Khanna-san. Truth or—
"I don't wanna play anymore," Izumi stands up.
"No, wait, Izumi-chan. It's just that I, I don't know, got a little carried away, I'm sorry," Sotoka-san grabs Izumi by the hand before she leaves.
"No, you never want to hug me because you hate me!" Izumi starts crying, and Sotoka-san wants to comfort her but she doesn't want to hug her, and Izumi's crying even louder.
And if she leaves, most of the fun I'm having right now leaves with her, so:
"Don't leave, Izumi," I say. "I'll help you to get a Sotoka-san's hug."
Both Izumi and Sotoka-san stare at me both surprised and confused.
"But she'll always pick truth and no dares," cries Izumi while all her tears and some snots run down her face."
Gross!
"First, clean up. But if Sotoka-san says 'truth' again, I'll tell you what to ask her." I stare at Sotoka-san and grin.
This is so much fun!
"Hey, that's not fair, Ino-san!" Sotoka-san stands up and yells at me.
I just shrug and:
"We never say we couldn't do that, Sotoka-san."
Sotoka-san glares at me, but then she sits down again.

She's still extremely and notoriously mad at me.
But then she pretends to calm down.
"Ok, ok," she says. "If that's how you want to play, fine by me. So truth or dare, Khanna-san?"
"Well, you, Hamano-san, chose truth, so I think I'll choose dare to give this game a little variation, thus, make it more fun.
Sotoka-san stares at me and grins.
"More fun indeed! So I dare you to ask Ino-san truth or dare; if she ways 'truth' ask her who's her crush, and if she says 'dare', I'll then tell you what her dare is."
"WHAT?!" I yell "THAT'S NOT FAIR!"
"We never say we couldn't do that, Ino-san."
Damn you, Sotoka-san! It's always the same with you! But I shouldn't get mad, though. I know what she's asking me, and I just have to answer.
"Truth or dare, Ino-san?" Khanna-san asks.
"Truth," I say smiling.
"Who's your crush?"
"No one. Izumi, truth or da—
"Noooooooooo," Sotoka-san stands up and approaches me while she's moving her index finger from side to side.
Did I fell on her trap or something?
"You're skipping your turn, Ino-san," Sotoka-san tells me with a grin and approaches me even more.
"What?! No, I'm not; Khanna-san just asked me truth or dare. Didn't you hear?
"Yes, she asked you truth or dare because I dared her to do so, but that was HER turn. Now it's yours, so truth or dare?" Sotoka-san is just in front of me now.
"THAT'S NOT FAIR! YOU CAN'T ASK ME TWICE IN A ROW!"
"No I can't," Sotoka-san leans towards me, and now her face is just in front of mine, and I can't get any further back.
Go away!
"But technically speaking," Sotoka-san doesn't shut up," when Khanna-san asked you truth or dare, it was her turn, so you didn't have to answer. But you did."
"So that counts as my turn."
"No, you answered because you wanted to. That was your mistake."
"NO, THAT COUNTS AS MY TURN! KHANNA-SAN, HELP ME OUT!"
"Well, we never specify the rules, and Sotoka-san's strategy seems completely logical," and that's how that bitch betrays me.
I'm going to get my revenge, Khanna-san. You'll see.
"Truth or dare, Ino-san?" that bitch of Sotoka-san asks me.
I sigh and say:
"Truth."
"Khanna-san," that bitch of Sotoka-san approaches that bitch of Khanna-san and whispers something in her ear, and that bitch of Khanna-san nods with her head.
I hate you both!
"Ok, Ino-san, you have to tell us who do you consider the school's cutest guy, and you have to name someone."
"THAT'S NOT FAIR! AND THEY'RE ALL SO UGLY AND STUPID!"
"Doesn't matter; you have to say a name, Ino-chan," says mockingly that bitch of Sotoka-san.
And I'll surely get revenge on you, bitch.
Everyone think you're soooooooo kind, but I know you. I know you, bitch, and I hate you, I hate you, I hate you, I hate you, I hate you, I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU…

And besides, there's no one cute at school; all the guys are a bunch of idiotic pervert immature selfish outrageous annoying naive pedantic problematic—and an infinite etcetera—assholes. Everyone except:
"Maruo-kun," I say, and their expecting smiles vanish.
"Maruo-kun? Who's that?" Sotoka-san asks both Izumi and Khanna-san, and both of them shrug.
Sotoka-san takes out her phone and starts to look in her contact list.
But judging by the disappointment on her stupid face, she doesn't find Maruo-kun.
"Maruo-kun… Maruo-kun… who's Maruo-kun?" she asks me, but I smile and:
Time for revenge!
"Noooooooooo," I stand up and approach her while moving my index finger from side to side. "I'm not falling again: my turn's already over, so truth or dare, Izumi. Choose dare.
"Dare," says Izumi, and I grin even more.
"I dare you to hug Soto—
Izumi immediately hugs Sotoka-san.
"Izumi-san, let me go, you already hug me, stop it," Sotoka-san tries to push her away, but it's as useless as always."
HAHAHAHAHA! YOU GET WHAT YOU FUCKING DESERVE!
"Hey, Ino-san, is there any change that you're referring to Maruo Fukuda when you say Maruo-kun?" Khanna-san asks, and with that she screws it all up. "He's in my classroom."
I KNOW! GOD, WHY DIDN'T YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP AS YOU ALWAYS DO!
Sotoka-san has a surprise/happiness expression on her face that makes me shudder.
"FUKUDA-KUN! YOU HAVE A CRUSH ON FUKUDA-KUN?! REALLY?! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?!" and that bitch of Sotoka-san starts laughing and even hugs back the Izumi who hasn't released her at any moment. "Well, now we know who we have to get in our club."
"SHUT UP, HE'S NOT MY CRUSH, I NEVER SAID IT WAS BECAUSE HE'S NOT MY CRUSH, AND YOU ONY ASKED ME WHO WAS THE CUTEST, AND I ONLY NAMED HIM BECAUSE HE'S NOT SUCH A BIG PIECE OF SHIT LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE! AND HE CAN'T BE IN OUR CLUB BECAUSE HE'S ON THE CHESS CLUB!"
Wait. Why did I say that out loud?
Oh, god.
"Ahhhhh," Sotoka-san stares at me happily and annoyingly. "So you're stalking him, huh?"
"Shut up, that's not true! I heard him say that once, BUT NOT BECAUSE I WAS STALKING HIM OR ANYTHING! Izumi, I dare you to hug Sotoka-san even harder, and never let her go!
"WHAT?! NOOO!" Sotoka-san yells foolishly, but it's too late because Izumi's already hugging her as hard as she can.
"Remember your turn's already over, Izumi-san," Khanna-san betrays me once again. Fun!
"Izumi, why are you letting Sotoka-san go?!" I yell because that's exactly what Izumi's doing.
"'Cause my tun's over," says that smiling idiot. "But don't worry; I'm gonna pick dare next time," and she winks at me.
I'll get my revenge on you too.
"Truth or dare, Sotoka-chan?" Izumi asks.
Oh, yeah, it's Sotoka-san's turn.
She starts wondering which option to pick, but wonder what you want, Sotoka-san; whatever you pick, I'm going to have my revenge on you.
"Truth," she says, and I approach Izumi and whisper to her ear:
"Ask her where the nickname 'busty' comes fr—
"INO-SAN AND MARUO-KUN SITTING IN A TREE!" that bitch of Sotoka-san starts yelling.
SHUT UP, SHUT UP, SHUT UP, SHUT UP!!!
"F-U-C-K-I—
"SHUT UP, SHUT UP, SHUT UP, SHUT UP!!!" WHAT'S THE DEAL WITH THIS FUCKING PERVERT?!" SHUT UP, SHUT UP, SHUT UP, SHUT UP, YOU FUCKING BUSTY, I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU!!!!"
But that bitch of Sotoka-san doesn't seem to hear me because she's too busy laughing at me.
And when she sees me the only thing she says is:
"YOU'RE SO BLUSHED, INO-CHAN! HOW CUTE! I'VE NEVER SEEN YOU LIKE THIS!"
"SHUT UP, YOU FUCKING BUSTY BITCH! SHUT UP, SHUT UP, SH—
"HAHAHAHA! SHE IS!" that stupid-ass Izumi mocks me too. "KAWAII! HER FACE'S SO RED!"
"SHUT UP, YOU FUCKING OTAKU! AND SHUT UP, FUCKING BITCHES, I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU ALL, AND I DON'T HAVE A CRUSH ON MARUO-KUN! I'VE NEVER HAD A CRUSH ON HIM AND NEVER WILL! JUST LEAVE ME ALONE! I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU! GO DIE!" I yell at them as hard as I can and run up the stairs and lock myself at the bathroom, AND NO, I'M NOT CRYING… And if I'm crying is of rage because that fucking bitches are mocking me. I don't have a crush on anyone, and never will because I don't need anyone. ANYONE! I may be tiny but I don't need anyone, so leave me alone, let me live my life for once!"
