"Wow, that shirt looks nice," I said to Hae In who was holding a shirt in front of herself next to a floor to ceiling mirror in a store and she turned to face me as she folded the shirt in two before she smiled at me.
"I know, right," she replied as she dropped the shirt in the basket she was holding while I walked into the store and looked around.
The store was basically untouched with clothes and shoes still on their racks. It would have looked completely normal if not for the dried blood smeared on the different places on the floor and on the glass that served as a wall between the store and the hallway outside. One of the floor to ceiling mirrors next to the shoe rack had a big spider web crack and there was an unmoving body in front of it. I couldn't tell if it had been an infected or a human because it was facing away from me and I wasn't willing to check to find out. It was most likely an infected though.
