"Is that a dog?" Laleh asked with raised brows as she tilted her head to the side when we walked into Carina house and she spotted Layla at the bottom of the stairs in the foyer. "Enny, is that a dog?"
"Uh... no, not a dog," I replied as I shut the door behind me before Layla got up and trotted over to me while Hae In headed up the stairs. "She's a wolf," I stated and Laleh's eyes widened slightly while her mouth fell open.
"Oh!" she exclaimed in surprise as she blinked repeatedly and rubbed her hands on her thighs. "Wow... Just wow."
I was about to feel bad about letting her come into the house without telling her there was a wolf in it but then I looked at her face and saw that she looked amazed, not scared.
