Together we made are way to the pack house. Once inside we headed to a large room with a huge table. Remiel, Al and Ace sitting at one end and a man I haven't seen yet along with Ariel, Sara and Cassie. There was something different about him he wasn't a pack member or a lycain for that matter. I walked In next to Azrael waiting for introduction. Remiel stood.
"Alpha Azrael, Luna Solaris welcome I trust you had a goodnights rest."
"As I always do Remiel. Ezekiel it's great to see you again it's been far to long I was starting to think you rejoined the side of our brothers."
Azrael walked slowly over to the man who was now standing. His face taking on his familiar aggressive stone look. The man bowed.
"Never Azrael I only do as instructed forever your eyes and ears. Our brothers are no wiser I only come to you now because there has been talk. They know she has returned Michael as begun to prepare."
Ezekiel's gaze turned to me a smile on his face.
"Its an honor to finally meet you my Queen."
It made me feel very uneasy being call Queen but I nodded to him. So he was an Angel 100%. I could feel it there was something so pure about him I just didn't know what it was.
"That would be his grace Little Wolf that you are sensing a taste of what heaven feels like."
I look at Azrael almost amazed I wondered what it would feel like to actually be there if just standing next to someone that's from there feels like this.
"Solaris why don't you and the ladies go and get reacquainted I'm sure you don't want to be bored with the meeting we are about to have I'll fill you in later."
I didn't even get the chance to protest before the girls started pulling me out of the room. I would of actually liked to of stayed, but I followed glaring at Azrael as they dragged me out the door. It's kind of bothered me he pushed me away so easily what didn't he want me to hear. I guess it didn't matter I could interrogate him later I could think of a few ways I could get the information out of him.
"Luna we have so much we want to talk about we have missed you."
Cassie said pulling out the back door of the pack house.
"Yes we figured we could have lunch we got it all set up over by the training fields."
Ariel looked back and winked at me. What was that for? We keep walking fallowing a path through the woods lined with Thistle and Myrtle a light citrus smell filled my senses. When we reach the end of the path the woods opened up into a field. They lead me over to a wooden table already set up with fruits and cheese pitchers of drinks. It sat on top of a platform a white canopy over top and a free standing brick fireplace.
"Come Luna sit let's eat chat and enjoy the view."
Sara pulled out one of the chairs for me we all sat and she made a gesture to the fields.
"So what do you think of our view Luna?"
All the girls start giggling and I look up out over the field. Platforms and obstacles cover the grounds but that was not the view they was talking about. I could feel myself blushing a score of shirtless chiseled men jumped, ran, lifted weights, and spared before us. Oh my! Was the only thing to pop in my head I could feel Aurora sneering in the back of my mind she didn't approve.
"Wow you ladies really know how to welcome a gal."
I felt a bit embarrassed not letting my eyes linger to long.
"We used to do this all the time it was a favorite pass time."
Cassie said handing me a drink.
"Really doesn't sound like something I would do to tell you the truth."
"Oh. It wasn't you complained then too but we still drag you along you always said you had enough man to worry about between Azrael and Lucifer."
A huge grin spread across Sara's face as she wiggled her eyes brows at me.
"We know you wasn't lying. Azrael is just so much man, but Lucifer Oh. My. God. Do you guys remember?"
Ariel said while she popped a grape in her mouth.
"How could we forget that a face and body that's forever seared in my mind for eternity."
Sara was fanning herself by this point. A bit of irritation washed over me.
"His eyes you guys remember those turquoise blue oceans. Thy just pulled you in with no escape."
I swear Cassie was drooling what is with these women? I knew girls could gossip but to see it in real time is a little to much for me I'm so out of place. But these women are not some normal gossip girls they are fallen Angels, Lycain and older then any other beings on the planet. So easily they are reduced to babbling teens.
"Soul think about it. when was the last they did this? I'm sure they have had times together but in that past life you was friends you could of talk to them about the guys see what they know. They helped you was on your side gave up there wings and heaven for you and then waited millennia for you to return."
Aurora had a point
"What else can you tell me about Azrael and Lucifer and about who I was then?"
"Well you didn't like to share even then. I remember that much."
Sara said and they all started laughing.
"Why would I share?"
"Well after living as long as we do we have all gotten to know each other very well the men included."
Cassie said wiggling her eyebrows and ogling the men in the fields.
"Wow I don't know if I could do that just the thought of someone else touching Azrael makes my blood boil."
Images of Lilith's hand on him flashed in my mind. I felt a growl leave my lips all the girls just looked at me.
"I'm sorry that wasn't aimed at you guys what can you tell me about Lilith?"
In unison they made sounds of disgust.
"She was Lucifer's biggest mistake, has done nothing but cause trouble sence the beginning after you and Lucifer left us she wouldn't leave Azrael alone for a millennia."
Ariel said with a scowl on her face.
"Yeah Luna she's one nasty bitch don't underestimate her though all of her hellish creatures fallow her and do her bidding."
"I thought Azrael ruled over Hell?"
"Oh he dose, but she's there mother after all Luna and Azrael's always had a soft spot for her put her in charge of all of it."
Cassie added chugging the rest of her drink.
"So you guys are not fans of her then It seems. Any idea where she is now?"
"She kind of disappear a few hundred years ago or so. After pursuing Azrael for so long I guess she gave up It was right around the time he started taking care of Alistair."
Sara said it like it was nothing but her words made me feel a moment of panic. Either they didn't know about Azrael and Lilith being together or they was trying to keep it from me but the time line they set up put something together for me something that may shatter everything I thought I knew about Azrael.
"Enough about men tell me about us what was our relationship like before?"
"Luna you always did everything you could for us. We thank you for showing us what life could really be like. We will fallow you for eternity with out question you are our Queen and we have waited for your return. We will fight by your side when the time comes my lady."
Sara was standing by the end She held up her drink to toast Cassie and Ariel held up their own.
"To our Luna."
We drank and snacked they told me stories about before it felt good something I haven't experienced. In the back of my mind still lingered the past with Azrael and Lilith.
