I think I was in shock. I just laid there unable to move or say anything. Then he kissed me again I didn't respond at first. Hesitantly I started moving my lips against his the taste of my own blood filled my mouth mixed with the taste of my arousal it reminded me of salted caramel. He pulled away from me a loud snarl filled my ears, then a knock came on the door.
"What is it this better be important, Alistair."
His voice was deep an angry and full of authority. A timid voice came from behind the door.
"Sir, you said to only to interrupt if Balthazar returned."
Azrael sighed heavily and pushed of the bed offering a hand to help me stand.
"The bathroom is the door to your left feel free to freshen up. Don't leave this room until I return for you."
He said then a kiss to my forehead with a disappointed look in his eye. I lifted my hand to his wiped the blood away that still stained his cheek. A quick kiss to my lips and he left the room. Leaving me alone in silence and my thoughts.
I stared at the door he just exited a part me actually missed him. What was going on with me I have known him mire hours but it feels like a life time, is it the mate bond? It has to be. I walked over to the door he said was the bathroom. Definitely a master bath every inch was covered by wood or stone the smell of fresh cedar filled the room. A his and her stone carved bowl style sink sat on top of a solid wood counter cored from a tree. The other wall a large whirlpool tub sat on top of what looked like a rocky cliff. With three steps leading to it and the window behind had the view of the same thick forest I saw from the bedroom. The best part of the whole room was a huge shower with no doors it had to be big enough for six people. The walls of the shower was a mix of dark and light stone with two shower heads on either side and a rain style system on the top that covered most of the area. A vanity area with shelves and cabinets took up the rest of the space.
I did a quick search finding the towels in one of the cabinets. Turned on the shower the water was instantly hot. I stood under it and let the water fall over my body almost stinging when it hit my sensitive nipples. The water in the bottom of the shower had a slight pink hue I reached to fell the bite marks still sore, I'm surprised it's not healed. I may not heal instantly like he dose But still faster then the average Lycian it should have been at least half way healed. To my surprise it was still fresh my hand still covered with bright red blood. What did his bite do to me?
I was finally thinking clearly he blinded vision in his presence to everything around me. Like how could I let it slide so easily that he had a conversation with Aurora and I didn't know it was happening. Or that they both agreed that I had to figure this out on my own it doesn't sound like her at all. Then There's the fact that he is the Angel of Death and Anubis how can I even being to wrap my brain around it. Have I really been here 3 days did he do anything to me in that time. Even more the sharing of blood from what I understand it's one of the mostly personal things one can do. Your forever be connected to the other person. He never asked me he just did it, but at the same time I didn't fight it I could of fought. He was doing something to me physically and mentally I needed to get away from him. Really get my feeling's about what happened between us, but I still had so many questions I needed answered. Would I be able to hold my will against him to find out more. I needed to know as much about him as I could and about everything that's happened the last few, well I guess days.
I was so lost in my own head I didn't hear him enter the bathroom till he walked up behind me wrapping his arms around my waist. I gripped his arms as he slide his hand down and the other to my breast. He just held me like that the water flowing over us I let my self enjoy the moment, realizing he was completely naked pressed up behind me. I could feel his member growing between my legs. I felt my heart race I didn't won't him to leave. A tightness took hold in my chest it felt like I was about to lose it. Tears filled my eyes and a knot built in my throat. He tighten his hold on me kissed the crook of my neck and whispered in my ear.
"I'm never going to leave you. I will only be gone a short time. Take the time explore the cabin we will continue our conversation when I return I know you still have many questions."
He slowly released me touching as much as he could as he slipped his fingers away. He was half way to the door when I ran and grabbed his hand turning him to face me. Forgetting what I was about to say when I caught the full view of his unclothed body seeing everything. Unable to take my eyes away his length and circumstances was something definitely to be proud of. My mouth fell open and with a finger under my chin he closed my mouth.
"In time little wolf, I will be all yours."
One last passion filled kiss and he left me alone, water still running behind me the floor was wet cause I didn't bother to grab a towel. Come to think of it neither did he. Did he just walk out of here in the buff? Then I heard a deep loud ear piercing howl. It had to be him never has a wolf howl shacked me to my bones. That means he shifted! I ran to the window to see what I would call a mammoth size wolf. Pitch black and red glowing eyes it was a truly tariffing sight. The wolf was looking straight at me bowed it's head and look almost as if it was trying to smile. To a human it would look like a snarl with the fangs exposed as they were. It made me giggle, the wolf shook it's fur tussled back and forth. Then took off into the woods. He was right about one thing his wolf was big maybe not quite a mammoth but still.
Turning off the water I went and grabbed a towel from the cabinet. Drying my self off looking at my self in the mirror I try to reach Aurora. Try to clear my thoughts I reach as far in my mind as I could. I started at the last conversation I had with her picturing us running through the woods I try to shift nothing happens. I can't shift? Shit there's something more going on then just a conversation and her deciding to let me figure this out on my own. I try again it feels like I'm scratching at something like layers have been place in the way I can sense her. I start digging she's getting closer I swear I can almost hear her.
"Solaris!"
It lower then a whisper.
"Aurora! oh my God where have been? Why did you cut me off.?"
"Solaris! You can't trust…."
"Cant trust who?
That was it I couldn't feel her anymore the barrier was back. Who could block her from me this way was it Azrael? Why would he want that?
