Chapter 3 - Isa “Icha” Isha Part II

When Kushalya left the house, her oldest son and daughter-in-law ,Ram and Ibhi, were still awake. Both of them are currently using the only bed in the house. No they aren't granting Kashalya's dream of becoming a *dadi. The two are working on their essay for college. Ram and Ibhi are currently 20 years old and finishing up their final year of college.

If you are wondering why they are marry at a young age, Ibhi's parents were really worried about how Ibhi would survive when they go to *Bhagwan, so they asked Ram to marry their daughter when both of them were at age. Ram said yes without any hesitated and whenever his Ibhi's parent would said, "Sorry child for making you marrying our daughter." Ram would beamed at them saying, "Before you ask me to marry Ibhi I was going to ask for her hand!".

Ibhi didn't like her parents thinking she need a man to survive but since it was Ram and only Ram. She agreed with the alliance between herself and Ram. As soon as they were at age, the two childhood friends became husband and wife. The wedding wasn't as fancy or rich or exciting but for Ram and Ibhi it was the best wedding they have ever went to.

Ram is an average looking Indian guy with his black hair. He have black eyes instead of gray eyes like the rest of his family members. He have a nice tan ,but not the kind of tan that makes girls swoon over him. Despite having average looks and a easily jealous violent wife, everyday Ram opened his locker to avalanche of love letters. When Shatughup ,Ram's younger brother, was still in puberty he wondering why girls love his *bhaee not him. He asked his *dedi but carefully of how he word it. Knowing one word would make Ibhi Dedi hand out all of his embarrassing baby photos to everybody in Mumbai.

"Ibhi Dedi why did a strong and independent woman such as yourselves agree to marry Ram Bhaee?"

"Hmm how can I explain it? I think it have to do with how kind and gentle he is? Or maybe it is despite being unfortunately he never once thought it as a disadvantage but as a reason of why he have to work hard? No I think maybe might be because he know how to clean the house! No it have to be his cooking! But then again I love how he always take care of me even though I don't need it. And how he-"

Shautughup slowly back away from Ibhi rambling on why she love Ram. "I should buy Ram Bhaee

books or get better grade or anything that would make him tell me his secret of making women fall in love with me. Then I would have the chance to ask her out!" Saughtughup thought.

Ibhi is what you considered as a volcano. Her dark brown eyes turn black every time a girl ask Ram to "hang out" or when people talk bad about her family and her long curly hair strangely but understandable remind people of Medusa's. Basically Ibhi is the type of women you shouldn't mess with or any one she cared for. A perfect role model toward a certain blue eyes girl.

"Ram you need to go to sleep! You have work at the first thing in the morning!" Ibhi demand to her overwork husband.

"My wife, I am already behind of my school work. Sleeping right now would make me repeat a year," Ram try to reason with his wife. Keyword. Try to.

"Don't you worry Ram! I already planned on doing both your and mine assignment!" Ibhi said fiercely. Silence dwell between the young marry couples for what is a few minutes in reality felt like hours.

Ram finally decided to be a man and talk to his wife,"My sweet Ibhi," but Ram quit being a man when he saw Ibhi's face slightly turning red. "Could you allowed me to pray to Bhagwan before I go to bed?" Ram ask.

"Of course dear!" Ibhi said with a beam on her face that turn her scarily dark brown eye to sweet dark chocolate color.

Ram got off his and Ibhi's bed and walk to the tiny Krishna Bhagwan shrine. Ram silencely said his thanks to Bhagwan before doing his prays.

"My Lord thank you for giving me the best woman a man could ever called his wife. I am unworthy of Ibhi but I would do everything I can to make her not regret agreeing to marry me! I will cook and clean the house for her when she feel tire or sick. I will listen and give her my advices on any problems she have. It doesn't matter if it is about the bakery or college or financial or even about my own family. I would help her deal with this problem. I won't allowed anyone to slander her name even if they are my mother or my younger siblings. I will still be at her side until my final breathe."

After 30 minutes of praying, Ram see his wife lying down on the floor and working hard on making sure their essay are the best in the class on a laptop they rented from a friend. He let out a small chuckle when he saw Ibhi had her eyebrows up and her lip tight together in complete concentration.

"Goodnight Ibhi."

"Only have sweet dreams Ram not nightmares!"

Ram laugh at his wife way of showing love to him before closing his eyes.
