The World Banquet was getting more and more heated.
The first hour's people ate with all their might, one delicacy after another. With time more and more people would open up with each other, and certain awkwardness and boundaries would disappear on its own.
It would be easier for people to interact and have as much fun as possible.
When it comes to being at the World banquet, there is no difference between a country president or a simple worker. Everyone is equal here, including celebrities, governors, morgols, anyone can appear where they least expect, or maybe their entire family would be with them, nobody knew how it would go.
Uncertainty also added to the mysteriousness of World Banquet which at first people didn't like. Still, the more individuals they got to know here over the years, the more they understood the importance of the whole occasion.
When you have no idea what to expect, but you know that this unexpected will be good, you will unconsciously begin to anticipate it.
One of the elites, of Morgols, sat there, eating his food with great speed he looked content with every dish.
Around him sat two middle-aged black men and one shifty-looking guy they were discussing something that amused Gari without end.
Not only weren't there voices covered, when eating, they would also, from time to time, look at Gari and whisper certain things.
Gari has been in this situation for four hours already. Everyone in the surrounding vicinity was having the time of their lives, laughing, joking, flirting, enjoying the best food, and flawless treatment from diligent Oak Tree Race, while he had to listen to their complaints and from what he could infer certain insults along the lines in between.
That shifty guy was truly masterfully insulting him.
Finally, after four hours Gari couldn't hold it anymore and roared, "for four hours straight, you three banded together and talked so much without even asking me anything in the process are you guys natural trolls or something. What do those virtual realities teach you, bastards!?
One of the black men was in ripped pants and a long white shirt, he had several accessories on his neck and hands, but he was without tattoos, as for the other black man, he wore everything white with a cross on his neck. Only, if he had no accessories, he had a lot of tattoos that looked quite glaring.
The last shifty-looking guy was white, from New York with a black suit and watch on his wrist, as bright as a full moon.
When Gari spoke, they all simultaneously stopped whispering, moved their comfortable chairs in tandem, and spread accordingly, just the way they were first transported, no longer together, isolating Gari.
Gari seeing their action was flabbergasted, "what are you all doing?!"
"Listen, man!! The entire time we been here all you did was eat, repeat, with that half-smile of yours and without saying anything to us at all.
"Yeah, we know who you are and what you represent, and since you haven't said a word to us all this time, we just isolated you, as for insults you can eat them quite well I see."
Garis's eyes constricted hearing their words. "What the actual hell?!"
"What do you guys do for a living!"
The trio looked at each other and smiled.
"Former gangster! Now a successful accountant! With an annual income of two million."
"Former gangster! From Detroit! Now a multi-millionaire won a lottery, created my own company, and live like that ever since giving stable jobs to hundreds of people."
"My turn," the white man scratched his head awkwardly, "ex-convict for stealing too many things, had to suffer for twenty years but was released for some reason, even got rewarded for my ability to steal by World AI! Now developing secret challenges for professional thieves to give them a challenge!"
"According to your words, I can assume that all three of you live stable lives, then why do I here insults about our supreme leader and even mine in the process!! I truly want to know the answer!"
"You don't know, huh because we hate him and you too."
"I don't get it!" Gari was already getting enraged.
"He pretends he doesn't know."
"Yep, he does pretend."
"In the past, approximately fifteen years ago when you Morgols appeared what you did to the world, maybe others forgot, because of the lifestyle of today, but we will never forget.
One of the black men hammered his hand on the table, dropping the dishes along the way.
Instantly, Oak Tree Race member swooped in extended its multiple leaved hands and cleared everything in a second. The next moment it took out new dishes, laid them on the table even faster, and retreated, one could see a satisfied smile along with a brightened eye on its wooden face that turned green.
The humans seating on the table didn't seem to care not even Gari, because sometimes they had to intentionally create a mess to give this race something more to do or who knew how unfulfilled they would feel.
Gari took one of the newly changed glasses of wine and said, "so you all were the ones that witnessed the carnage first hand?"
Garis's direct admittance surprised them, but they got angrier because of that, "than if you Morgols admit that it was carnage why do you all pretend nothing happened as if all is dandy and ok! My homie was ripped in half in front of me by you guys! If I could get forgiveness and a better chance at life, why couldn't he! Answer me?"
"Yes, one of my brothers in the gang was annihilated, he didn't live anything behind!"
Hearing their words, Gari looked up at the sun that was shining brightly and whispered, "indeed what we did in the past was ruthless, but we did what Dominus ordered us to do. He marked certain humans, and we ruthlessly executed them without question, I know from the bottom of my heart your friend of the past did deserve death because everyone that Dominus marked needed to die, there were no mistakes. Still, from the standards and society we have today, he could have been punished in 'prison' and spared, only back then we didn't have what we have now."
Gari looked at his hands, "we did blitzkrieg the world fifteen years ago and annihilated everyone that threatened our vision of the world order. well, that's what I thought back then at least, that we were competent in our actions, but not everything is black and white, power and luck can do many things."
"We the Morgols question Dominus all the time. If humanity is under our patronage and we aren't allowed to kill any humans and if everyone can be reeducated and reaccepted in the society of today. Why did we kill them and overtake the world in such a way in the past!"
"Do you guys want to know what he said?!"
The trio nodded; they wanted to know this answer for ten years already.
Gari sighed, "well, the answer is simple. It goes back to my words, their luck!! Their luck was beyond negative! Twelve years ago, Dominus cemented into a reality where they were already dead. Nothing could be changed so ten years ago he made sure he wouldn't commit the same mistake twice!"
The shifty looking guy was flabbergasted the other two almost lost their eyeballs from shock.
"What did you say just now!"
"Yes, Dominus can see the future and choose the one that he wishes to follow only, today we Morgols are allowed to say that he has such ability to certain individuals beforehand. Maybe this is his compensation to you guys by answering your doubts first, before others here everything. Some dignity is given to you all."
"Now I understand why I seat with people with whom I have nothing in common with and why I was ordered to listen to your insults without saying anything."
"I, we… I don't know what to say. Now certain things make sense, doesn't it brothers?"
"Indeed."
"We have been trained well, didn't we?"
"What do you mean?!"
"All of us got shocked by the revelation, but no one is screaming what we heard to the other seating on other tables, how many of our questions will you answer!"
"I want answers!"
The white male ripped the tie on his neck and wiped the sweat away, "tell us everything you can and also on previous four World banquets we complained about the same thing to other people, but why was this time different."
"As long as you guys stay silent for the rest of the day, I am willing to answer everything I know, and maybe it will be advantageous to you guys later on."
"We promise!!"
"Don't worry, we aren't kids any longer; we can keep our promises."
Gari nodded at them and thought, "everything happens for a reason on this day, and everyone gets something out of it, what I get then? What is my benefit? There must be something!"
.....
People already satiated their appetites more or less.
Zagaroths skill was still in full effect, but other than certain humans that had food eating-related disorders in the past, now had the chance to indulge themselves. The rest slowed down considerably, and chatters and laughers became more frequent.
Everyone knew already from the past experience, once they slowed down the true entertainment would begin.
From the side of multicoloured Mammatus clouds, a certain sound broke the silence in the sky.
When people looked up, they saw thousands of majestic flying creatures breaking out from the clouds. Humans sat on them playing different instruments.
"Oh, oh, so hear it begins! So excited, I hope... I witness more this year."
"Omg, hear the show begins."
"So exciting! Mom stop eating look up! up!"
All around Mercury, several big performances would take place.
The Mammatus clouds would be ripped multiple times, and at least ten marvels would happen.
On the side of Volcanic lightning that only hit around a hundred meters above humans, creating a breathtaking sight suddenly changed colours into purple.
With the flashes of purple, hundreds of platforms formed in the air, thousands of well-trained humans stood up and ascended. Temporary energy wings grew on their backs.
Those who sat beside these humans were flabbergasted than excited.
Today amidst Volcanic lightning, thousands of humans would play catch lightning to entertain themselves and others. The winner would get worldwide recognition and the supreme title, "Volcanic lighting tamer".
On the side of Mercury where Catatumbo lighting created by Zagaroth brought its majestic and frequents booms humans atop flying balloons broke through the sky, they had special armour and a ball in their hands. They would play a game of "drop em down" amidst increasing lighting, and a hundred variations of it.
Every time someone kicked a ball, it would change colour according to the team, in total there were seven teams.
People could place bets on the ones who would win.
If someone fell, they would be disqualified and transported below to watch the show.
The balloons were numerous, so you had the chance to stay afloat and jump from one to another.
The goal was to kick the ball, hit someone, and be the last one standing.
On the side of Mercury were modified polar lights flashed with radiance. Specially trained people appeared. They were in unique costumes that were super long, fluttering in the wind, they would play on instruments and create an anthem that polar lights would help make.
The groups were affected by the skills used by Zagaroth that would give them creative epiphany, unity, and plenty more to create classical music that the world has yet no seen.
It has to be noted on this side of Mercury one would mostly meet people that enjoyed classical music very much.
They would feel immense satisfaction if up in the air humans created something magnificent because they would get to here it perfectly, and everything would stay in their minds forever never forgotten.
On the side of Mercury, where Nacresous clouds were modified by Dominus to be even more beautiful, f-99 super broke the clouds, and the battle began in the air.
Hundreds of pilots zipped back and forth to battle in the air; their goal was to destroy everyone that went against them. In the end, The last man would be the winner. All f-99 supers would be destroyed in the process, but this wealth was nothing for today's humanity. Aerial forces were not that important any longer, space ships that's what mattered.
One could only imagine the sheer speed f-99 supers possessed, humans in this area had to wear special glasses that allowed them to watch from the pilot's perspective from one eye and normally watch from the other. Disorientation was avoided, and multitasking was also possible with Zagaroths secret supervision.
The technology couldn't allow one to watch everything at such speeds no matter how fast it advanced in every filed, humans needed to evolve themselves to make certain things possible.
Here watchers would feel the magnificence in full.
Every time one event ended on any side of cold Mercury, another would begin. Some would be grander than others, but all of them would blow minds and excite people.
As for the side of the Sun of Mercury, the chosen celebrities would perform their songs, shows, and in certain areas, even movies would be played.
These movies would only be shown once, and no one, but people in this area would witness it.
The Internet would never find these movies, but those that watched it would remember everything forever, these movies were created only for them.
If the events on the side of cold Mercury could be watched later on the side of the sun didn't allow such a thing, everything was for this one time.
Along with everything else, more and more dishes would be delivered. All of them unique from different races.
The celebration reached its second phase.
While humanity was having fun, Dominus rocked back and forth on a reclined chair with his eyes closed.
He was the sole human on earth. The rest consisted of The Oak Tree Race that did jobs for humans.
"Well, world AI, how are things progressing."
"Master we haven't deviated a single bit, humans that are suspected of evolving have been incubated for thirteen hours until you take action. We can at least protect them for that long!"
"Great it would be bad to lose even a single human on our glorious day."
"Father we have seen World banquet countless times, but it feels bad not being there when it happens in reality," Lika said saddened.
"It's ok" Dominus made an 'ok' sign in the air, "I don't feel any sadness, remember we are the cheaters, heh, we watched every show until I got bored to death!"
"Father remember when you asked the heavens 'I wish I were truly surprised for once in my life'?" David said.
"I wanted a surprise not a fucking mega atomic surprise that destroyed all my plans." Dominus stood up and began pacing back and forth.
"According to the previous plan, I still had left ninety years to assist humanity, but now I am suffering more and more, and this is making me angry."
Zagaroth appeared on Dominus's shoulder and said, "true war will cheer you up."
"Oh, that's for certain!!" Dominus laughed.
