Chapter 7 - Day 7

I remember you

I drew you, but I felt the earth draw me.

I smelt you, but you smelt like burnt coffee and tiresome irony.

I left, you kept, we meet and then it set.

we are not meant and that's what bent, and kept on telling me that everything went. I kept praying for a godsend, yet God did not fend she kept on watching me clench and beg but deep down it was for the best.

You rent my head cascading through each and every corner for free, while I want to fly with the birds over the sea.

I feel my body twitch and ich whenever I sense you're around my fence and that's when I hear the men.

I watch the moonlight dance over our bodies while the light of night guides us through its jungles of dreams, filling the empty streets with hopeless laughter of two broken amateurs dancing and breathing every fiber of each other's being.

The last one to let one in was the one who was broken within, but darling we were both lost little birds waiting for the cage to open from within, and finally be set free to dance with the free.
