"September I swear if you don't get your ass down here ASAP, you're walking to school!" Neruda's voice echos outside my room and I nearly stab myself in the eye with my eyeliner.
"I said I was coming!" I yell back to him. "Fucking hell." I mutter under my breath, giving up on make up and snatching my backpack up.
It's been a week since we got back from the Olde Country and everything was more or less back to normal.
We still hadn't heard anything from my dad which was a little worrisome but Cyril reassured us that he was just fine, just currently travelling around the world.
That sounded like tons of fun and I was just content to know that he was okay, my mom on the other hand was currently living in the Olde Country and there were still a lot of details I didn't know yet.
My grandmother had put an end to the attacks from the Lower Sect which was relieving, it wasn't fun having them on your tail.
