"So you're telling me that this is the equivalent of a bus, like back on Earth?" Lucy asks her boyfriend with excitement.
Travon just has this indulgent look on his face. "Yeah it is, cool right?" I note that his upbeat mood sours at the end of his words and I peek up, I stopped myself from reading people's emotions while I was on Earth but now that we're in the Olde Country where it's really dangerous, I find myself with my feelers out constantly.
I could tell how everyone was feeling right now and I could sense the sour emotion of guilty nervousness from Travon and the way his eyes keep darting around like he expects someone to jump him.
