Xavier's P.O.V (Tada! J)
"Right, today you ladies will all be swimming!" the coach shouted. I rolled my eyes knowing she was talking about the guys mainly when she said ladies. "Go and change and I'll meet you all here in 5 minutes. Any longer you will be punished." The whole time she was looking at Alexia in the eye. Really.
The coach walked back into the building to get something. I grabbed my bag from the bench and walked to the boy's locker room while slinging the bag onto my shoulder.
I passed guys who were talking about their girls busts and I was disgusted with them. Don't they have anything else to do? I changed into the swimming trunks that we were given by the school which ere black with gold.
I left my bag there since I knew I would be back in here to change anyway so.. When I stepped out I walked up to James and we started talking about Alexia which was tough for me, "Did you find out what's wrong with you yet?" he asked me.
He was talking about the time I had met my mate. It was a few weeks ago after I had met Alexia. The moment me and my wolf, Jax, saw her, we went up to her because Jax had taken control by then. He looked straight into her eyes and asked her what her name was, "Stephanie Clarence," so common.
"I Xavier Cole, reject you Stephanie Clarence as my mate," I was so shocked because she looked like she had died and I felt nothing. The whole time he had been thinking about Alexia. We formed our own bond with her and her amazing nature. I normally stay awake just thinking about her innocent ways.
Back to James, "I formed my own bond with her. I love her. Genuinely. Not because the Moon Goddess chose her for me. Genuine." I explained. It was a stressful subject for me every time.
Most of the girls were now standing around in their costumes flaunting their assets but I didn't care. I was on my way to the pool after talking to James when the door opened and for some weird reason I had to look. Then I saw her. Alexia.
She was wearing the school swim suit which was black with gold and purple swirls. Her hand was running through her long walnut hair while her brown eyes looked like a doe's. She was completely oblivious about the looks she was getting and the trouble she was about to start.
She was about to remove her towel when that Jason guy ran and gripped her towel and whispered most probably a warning. Just as my wolf had calmed down she shoved Jason and took off her towel and put it on a bench. She walked over and tried to talk to James but he just stared at her. I looked at her bust and then her bottom and felt my control slipping as my stare lingered there. I looked back at her and her innocence shocked me.
Jax tried to take over but I pushed him to the back of my mind. I felt like the whole world centered on her at that moment. I was in my pounce position before I knew it and just when I jumped I found myself being restrained by one guy who called his friend.
I kept fighting though. I badly hurt one of them but then two others came and one of them was an alpha so I was helpless. I growled in defeat as I fell to my knees. I felt so helpless. What was I going to do if they weren't able to stop me?
She looked straight into my eyes and I felt helpless under her stare. What was I going to do without her in my life? I can't ruin this for her.
I really truly love her. The coach came in shouting but I couldn't hear a word she said as Alexia never removed her stare from mine.
I felt myself being dragged away but it just made me need her not just want her to be mine. She didn't realize but she was slowly starting her heat and I needed to warn her and control myself.
"Dude, what's wrong with you?" James asked. To be honest with you he's like my only real friend. Everyone else is either an acquaintance or some girl with a crush on me. Everyone except Alexia.
"She's about to go on heat and she hasn't been marked by her mate yet," I explained. James was only half werewolf, but he already knew everything about them because of me.
I stood up and left with no explanation and followed her sweet vanilla, coffee like sent. I walked until I was now standing infront of a hospital for pregnant people. I guess this is about her baby then.
I was about to walk in when she walked out. She almost bumped into me but noticed me sooner. "Hey," I said rubbing the back of my neck feeling awkward, "Sorry about the whole... this," pointing to my still black eyes. They were not as black but still.
"Um... that's fine I guess?" she said it like a question. Looking into her eyes I realized that she didn't understand.
"So I was wondering. I know this amazing private pool place and I suspect that you didn't take off your costume because you're a lazy bum," she laughed at that fact and it was the most beautiful thing I have ever heard, "so wanna come?"
She gave me a dazzling smile and I couldn't help smiling back, she shrugged and I took that as a yes.
I grabbed her hand and then dragged her to my car. It was a black Mercedes Benz E-class. She hopped in with a smile and I felt myself floating.

"Listen before you go and change," I explained holding up my hands, "I have to tell you that you are slowly going into heat," she looked at me confused and tilted her head. "Heat is kind of when girls end up being chased by the male wolves so that they mate." I said in a blunt tone.
"Can't you like control it?" she asked fidgeting.
"No. If you're mate or someone else marks you then you won't be chased especially if you haven't mated yet." She nodded in understanding as I talked, "So it's really up to you because you have until tomorrow till guys can't control themselves." She nodded slowly and then walked away in the direction of the changing room.
I smiled taking that as a yes and then took of my shirt because I was already wearing my trunks. I sat there for a few minutes. Looking at the changing room door until she emerged in her towel and swimming suit. I breathed deeply and took my time before standing up with a smile.
"You ready?" I asked walking up to her. She looked at me with a smile and nodded.
She took off her towel and put it aside. I felt my eyes get darker, but I managed to control it to a certain area. I ran up to Alexia and grabbed her bridal stile causing her to squeal and hang on to my neck.
I laughed at her reaction then jumped into the pool. The water rushed into my face and I quickly took our heads out of the water before she choked. I laughed at the look on her face.
"I have never seen anyone more beautiful than you do right now," I said looking into her eyes. There only thing stronger than a mate bond was when a wolf fell in love with someone personally and actually meant it.
"Xav?" she said. I love that nickname. "I think I love you," she said blushing and looking down. I felt my heart pick up the pace.
"I love you, Alexia," I said with the most loving eyes. I lowered my face and set my lips on hers. She kissed me back ferociously. I don't think I will ever love anyone more.
"Get away from her!" a loud voice shouted. I stopped kissing her and looked at the guy who shouted. Jason.
