I glanced back at Douglas and saw him looking up and down at me and I frowned at him and he started chuckling. I rolled my eyes and started grinning like a fool.
"Hello," I said reaching out my hand to the good looking guy at the table. He had deep brown eyes and his hair was brown-black. He looked up at me with a warm smile and I almost melted at his smile. Then something in his eyes changed when he saw me.
"I know you," I looked at him not showing how frightened I was. "You're the one who killed my brother."
I staggered back with a look of absolute disgust on my face, "How dare you?" I said with the most feeble voice I could manage.
He stood up and grabbed my arms, "No, I need to thank you," he then looked at me confused and then he had worry and anger in his eyes, "What are you doing here? Who wants me dead?"
I shook my head. I have never been in this situation before. Then a hand joined the grabbing that was going on. I looked up to see Daniel and James standing behind him. "Hi, I'm her brother," he said in a lightly shaky voice, "She just wanted to ask if that chair was occupied."
The man looked at me and then lowered his voice, "Who wants me dead?" I had to think fast.
I started crying and everyone in the restaurant looked in my direction giving the man infront of me a dirty eye, "Why would I kill someone?" I looked at James and then he just rubbed my back and started reassuring me. "What's wrong with him?"
The manager and a few waiters came to my aid and the man was sent out a had been banished from there. I looked at James still ignoring Daniel and then walked up to Alex and said that I wanted to go home.
When we walked out we saw the guy from the restaurant who I found out his name was David. He was walking to his car and then the moment he started the engine the car exploded.
I wiped off my fake tears and then sat down in the car. When Douglas started driving the guys were sitting in the back still shocked with what happened.
"This isn't fair though," I whispered to him. "You know I like looking in their eyes."
He chuckled at my words, "I need to ask you something," he said his voice shaking.
"Mm-hm?" I mumbled not really paying attention still upset by what happened.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" he whispered.
"I thought we were already dating?" I whispered back.
"Not like for show, Hailey. I mean for real. I really like you and I just can't let that feeling go," when he finished his knuckles were white by how he was holding the steering wheel.
I hesitated. Was he serious? Did I feel the same way? I looked at his face and my decision was already made when I saw the disappointment on his face.
"Look," he began now loudly not hinting on what we were talking about, "It's fine if you're not up to the mission but just know I mean it. I will wait for you. You're the only person suitable. It's fine, I'm used to people saying no to m-"
"Yes," I said with my eyes squeezed shut. Did I just say yes? Where on earth did that come from?
"Yes, I'm used to people saying no to me? Or..." he looked shocked and hopeful but you could tell that he was trying to tell himself not to get hopeful.
"Yes to your first question," I smiled at him awkwardly. He started grinning like an idiot. My idiot. I laughed at his expression pointing at his face, "You look like a monkey."
"Monkey?" he said with a shocked expression, "You need better glasses."
"I can just see more than the normal human eye can see," I said shrugging.
"Whatever," he huffed.

Douglas P.O.V
"She fell for it," I informed Alpha Jackson. "I should be going to her school tomorrow just to make her grow closer to me."
"Remember that she's the enemy. Don't fall her lies," he informed me.
Tell that to Gary, my wolf, "What's the plan with her?" I asked instead of what I was going to say.
"Take her on a date and then drive her here, I have some... plans for her." He answered. I have to be honest, he is clearly obsessed with her. Werewolves may have mate but they still can get obsessed with someone. He already found his mate but she's not allowed to leave the top floor of the pack house.
"I nodded and walked out of the office after I was dismissed. Tomorrow I have to go to school... again. I already found my mate and she is the most beautiful, kind and loving. We had three kids and a human was definitely not going to ruin my life.

Emma's P.O.V
I got up sighing in defeat. I was to tired to get up, "Cookie! Cookie!" Cookie was one of my three dogs. She came bounding up the stairs and scratched my door.
I groaned again and finally stood up and showered and wore black ripped jeans, a red shirt and red converse. On top I wore a red hoodie which said 'Just don't.'
I was going as my normal self this time. I don't care what people would say. I walked out of the door and hopped onto my beautiful baby. My motorcycle. I rode to school and then out of nowhere it hit me. I'm taken. I can now use that when someone tries anything funny on me.
I went to school and parked my bike. I hopped off and ignored all the looks I was getting. The Barbie walked up to me with a fake smile. Oh jeez.
"Hey, I'm Chelsea. I'm the queen bee." She flipped her hair as if to show off.
"I know who you are and I don't care about you," I walked right past her and kept walking. I got to my locker and saw James and Daniel standing there having a stare off. "Guys please do that anywhere besides my locker."
They both looked at me and took a step back. I opened my locker and took out my books. This was going to be a long day.
During break I was sitting by the pool reading on my phone with my fee in my water.
"Hey," I looked up and saw Douglas standing there looking as good as ever. He had this gorgeous smile when he looked at me, "Nice going original."
I stood up and hugged him, "That's what couples do right?" I asked completely clueless by what I was doing.
"Well normal they kiss.." he looked at me cautiously.
I blushed and lowered my head because I had very light skin so. He chuckled at my response. "Don't worry I won't press you," I let out a shaky breath then kissed his cheek. He tensed up. Weird. "Do you want to go on a date?"
"But school isn't over yet," I said as an excuse.
"Don't act like you care," he laughed at my fake tone and I joined him. I felt someone watching me and turned around to see Daniel watching while James was talking to him having not noticed me.
"Okay, let's go," I grabbed his hand and dragged him to his car and then he opened my door. I scoffed at his attempts and then pushed him to his side of the car. As we drove away I saw Daniel and James just stood there looking at me with empty expressions.
