The sky was dark, with little stars twinkling up in the cloudless sky. In the backyard of the house that Lexine and her housemates used, two figures stood. One was much taller and buff than the other, while the shorter person was a female.
Sevin held a wooden sword in his hand. The tip had been dug into the soil slightly, and he was balancing his body onto the object. His chest was bare, and sweat trickled down his chin and onto his bare skin. He was looking up at the sky just as Lexine was. "Do not follow in my footsteps." He was saying, "When you have a sword, it is just like a third arm to you, and thus you should treat it with the utmost respect."
Although she was tall for a female, she was still much shorter than he was. Her long hair was pulled up in a neat bun which had become loose at some point in their sparring. Like him, she held a wooden sword in her hand. "Then shouldn't you be setting a good example to me?" Lexine snickered slightly.
