The sky turned dark once they walked into the egress formed on the tree in the middle of the park. Lexine walked next to her uncle, and had her hands crossed over each other. The school uniform she had worn was soft to the touch, and the dark blue color fluttered in the wind.
Arkien's office was empty. A small light lit up the room once Arkien had walked in.
He turned to Lexine and the rest. "Seeing how the light has turned on, it must be night." He glanced at the window, and his conjunction was correct.
"Time moves a bit differently here compared to anywhere else on both sides of the gate, so it might be a tad confusing at times. Even I don't quite comprehend it." He addressed them all.
