The empress looked down at the minister who was standing in front of her with a sneer on her face. She was wearing a golden headdress with tassels that fell over her face in long strips, covering up to her chin. Due to this, the minister failed to see the sneer that was on her lips. "This is why, I believe it is best we reduce the finances allocated to the eastern region, your highness."
She crossed her feet over each other and looked down at him through her hooded lids. "I see. What about the excess funds that will remain? What do you suggest we do with that?"
"Empress, I believe that that money is better spent on other areas to better our kingdom. For example, the monsters in the north have been popping up more often than usual. I suggest we strengthen the army to prepare for anything that might happen."
