The wind blew into the room through the open window, fluttering Adley's blue hair up from her ponytail.
"I don't know if you know this, but one of our attackers we met was feasting on a human." Adley peeked at Timaeus.
Timaeus did not look surprised by her words. "I am aware of that. I saw some of the other creatures also feeding on humans. There was quite a number of casualties from it." He ran a hand down his face.
"Sadly, we were unable to capture one of them live. The dead bodies from the attackers were collected and taken to the labs for research. After all, the way they were eating humans is highly abnormal."
Adley bobbed her head, silently agreeing with him. She pulled her glasses off of her face and pressed her fingers on her eyes. "Say, Lord Timaeus, what is your thought on humans?"
"What do you mean? In what aspect?" Timaeus cocked his head slightly, laying his back on the backrest of the plastic chair he was sitting on.
