Lexine landed at the top of a building but did not put Taevlin down. Taevlin's skin was flushed up to the tips of his ears. He coughed, silently reminding Lexine to put him down. Lexine looked down at his face, and as if she had read his mind, she pulled him closer to her. "If you don't hold on to me, you might fall and hurt yourself." She reminded him.
Taevlin raised his hand and pushed her back instead of wrapping his arms around her neck. "This position is quite disconcerting. I request that you let me down."
Lexine sighed, pouting, "I don't want to. Do I have to?"
Taevlin got a good look at her face, and he frowned. Her eye color was still not receding. "Alright." He raised his hands once more, wrapping them around her neck.
Lexine cackled, her slightly shaking shoulders slightly raising him up and down. "Lexine?"
"Hm?"
"Are you really Lexine?"
Lexine stopped laughing and bowed her head to stare at him. "What makes you think I am not Lexine?" she spoke in a low voice.
