Taevlin's eye twitched, and he looked around the room for anyone who could get him out of the predicament that he was in. Lexine did not feel like she was doing anything wrong since she picked up the glass that was half-filled with champagne. It was the one that Kivuli had left behind.
Taevlin was unable to stop her from downing the whole glass. By the time his hand grasped her wrist, the glass was already empty. "Hehe." Lexine giggled. "There's two of you. Hehe."
Since they were seated in a slightly hidden place, no one noticed the weird way that Lexine was acting. Lexine held her head and stared at Taevlin. He was still holding the glass which he had filled with water. 'What?' he spoke in her head.
Lexine pursed her lips, "Do you think that we can have a normal conversation with the way that you are speaking in my head? Come on, speak as a normal person would." She banged her fist onto the table.
