A few days later, Adrianna was discharged from the hospital. In order to ensure her mother was alright, Lexine did not go out of the house either. Therefore, she did not meet Ceeret for the week and half she was not in school.
It was the first time that they had gone more than a week without speaking. When they first met, it was due to the fact that their babysitters were friends. So, they met each other every few days.
After that, they were in the same school all through to high school, so they met every day. Even when they didn't meet, they would call each other, or rather Ceeret would call her on the home phone, and as they got older, she called on their phones.
Therefore, except for the time that she went to the academy, they always spoke on the phone if they were unable to meet.
Due to the fact that now Ceeret and her mom had a good relationship, Lexine expected that she would come to see Adrianna at least even when she was out.
