The four housemates took the shortest route back to their house. It was already late evening, so the rest were probably eating or getting ready to sleep.
Lexine was still frowning at Taevlin for catching her off guard like that. Her knees still felt jelly-like and her heart was pounding in her chest.
As they arrived, they met Sevin and Cardial who were leaving the house. Considering the fact that they were shirtless and barefoot, there was no doubt that they were going for their evening run.
Sevin stopped at the bottom step, his lips pulling up in a smile when he noticed the four coming over. "I thought you guys were coming back tomorrow." He said as he took a step towards them.
Taevlin shrugged before walking into the house. Lexine stared daggers at him as if her stares would make him apologize.
Desire gave a small smile to Sevin, "We came back early since we were done with our chore. Excuse me."
