I wake up from my nap and my maidens rush me out of my room. "Prince Caspian, you are going to have a date with Princess Amelia, you need to get in different attire", one of them says. At least they're treating me with more respect this time. "Here you go my prince, this is your attire now go get changed.", they hand it over to me.
I step into my walk in wardrobe and get changed. I'm in a darker outfit than last time and have different jewels in my crown. A guard takes me outside to see Amelia sitting down at a table for two. Her hair was curled and fluffy. Her dress screamed pink. Her face was as soft as a cotton ball. I sat down opposite her and stared down at the table.
"Guards please leave, I want me and my 'boyfriend' to have a romantic dinner date just between the two of us.", Amelia orders.
"So, you ran away didn't you?, what made you return? If I were you, I'd stay where I was and never come back to my kingdom", Amelia states.
"I didn't want the forest to be in danger, my father would've probably looked for me and go at war earlier than he wanted.", I say.
She spits her water out,"you mean you were in the enchanted forest?! No human for millenniums have been able to pass through the gate and walls!", Amelia exclaims.
"Well I found a crack in the wall and did, that's where I actually met someone who was very kind to me and I miss him very dearly..", I state.
"Him..?", She says.
"Yeah.. I'm gay but if anyone else knew I'd be in treason.
"Oh I understand.", she says with sympathy in her eyes.
"Society is such a saddle-goose, isn't it?", she says.
"Yeah it is!", I agree.
"So.. we're going to be dating for 3 years and we're going to be King and Queen of Quelaric and Laithea?", she says.
"Yep..", I awkwardly respond.
This was awkward, the date had gotten pretty awkward.
"So uh.. the sky is beautiful?", I say awkwardly.
"It sure is.", she gazes at the stars," hmm, want me to help train you to open that lock and help you be able to use your Aura?".
"YES!", I get up from my hair and shout.
"Ok, every Saturday date we will go outside in the secret gardens and train!", she exclaims.
"So.. I heard that there's these new boxes out in this store in town, wanna go check it out tomorrow? I heard that the tiny boxes are really popular.", I engage a conversation.
"Yeah sure, anything to pass some time.", she says.
"Well it was nice seeing you tonight," I say as I get up.
"Same, tomorrow at 2, we'll meet up at the palace entrance.", she's says while leaving.
I walk to my room and collapse on my bed.
Who am I? Am I Prince Caspian, the prince who is selfish and doesn't care about his citizens or am I Lillian, who's carefree and happy?
I lay my head on the pillow, I sit and think with my eyes closed.
What if I was never royalty?
I hear guards rushing in,"Prince Caspian! The town is under attack by assassins, we must stay here and protect you!".
GREAT, now I have people watching me sleep. Isn't this just splendid?
I make a decision to escape my room through the balcony.
"Hey kid, you are not permitted to go out", a guard says.
"Well I'm the Prince and I order you to let me go.", I say.
I grab a rope and jump off the balcony, hanging on the rope. As i slide with the rope, my hands get so hot, OUCH. I finally reach ground level.
Now that I'm out, what do I do now? Where do I go?
I head south into the village.
I step into the cemetery and buy some lillies.
I stand at their graves. I sit on my knees crying. "I miss you guys so much, I don't know what to do with my life anymore, I'm so lost", I cry for about 5 minutes. I leave the flowers at their graves and leave the cemetery. At the speed of lightning the graves were destroyed by magic? Suddenly, I felt an arrow go through my lower half of my chest..
Before I passed out, I caught glimpse of long ears and golden hair...
