Lake had long ago dozed off to sleep again, giving the impression that she had been tired out during her days on the street which wasn't that surprising and even though the thought of it angered Luka, he was still glad that the girl had slept because he didn't want her to see or hear the things around her.
Others were sitting with a frown, holding their guard up just in case. It took all of them a few seconds to realize that Mike was the one that Luciella had referred to.
"Sit down, silly boy." Luciella averted her gaze from Xavier as if he was worthless in her eyes. "And you too, Julia. Aren't you a little too old for all of these dramas!?"
