Xavier, Carlos, and Luiz finally reached Sao Paulo. Xavier, for the first time after a long time, sent his prayers to God and asked him to take care of Luka while he couldn't. And to take care of his child.
Between the couple, Carlos was the only one that had left the forest before and for Luiz, it was a new but weird experience. Luiz's English wasn't that well but he could speak Portuguese and Spanish so-so.
Xavier was the one who talked with others and to Luiz's surprise, he got his way around Earth very well for someone who hadn't been in this place for such a long time.
The closest flight to where Xavier and Luka were supposed to be in the first place—Las Vegas—would take off in five hours which meant five hours of nervous small talk that he made with Carlos and Luiz but Xavier ended up falling asleep on Carlos's shoulder after an hour of waiting.
