Xavier didn't even close his eyes for a second. He stared at Luka the whole time that he was sleeping, cherishing every second of being with his soulmate, knowing that these moments may not last.
It took Luka only half an hour to refresh his body and wake up but even then, when Luka felt like he was slowly sleeping away from his sleep, the boy held on to that and refused to wake up.
Xavier didn't mind staying with his soulmate like that even for eternity and so when Luka went back to sleep after opening his eyes, Xavier sat with him not even a little bit hurt or annoyed he was even happier than ever.
A little while later, Luka suddenly jumped awake, scaring Xavier and somehow himself.
"What is it?" Xavier quickly took his soulmate's hand, worried that he had a bad dream or somehow felt threatened. "Are you okay? Is something wrong?"
