The next time Alexander visited Julia, it had already been three hundred years and somewhere in between, the girl had already moved on from her soulmate and had started doing around and having fun again.
It was cloudy and the possibility of rain was a lot, making Julia's mood to be fine and high. She was happily taking care of her Wisteria tree, making sure that the core of her forest is fine so that her forest would be fine too.
"Hey," Alexander tapped on Julia's shoulder, making her jump from the surprise from both seeing someone here and hearing Alexander's voice. "Sorry. Did I scare you?"
His voice was just the way Julia remembered, steady and a little bit shy though behind the shyness, Julia could detect a tone of confidence too, making the shyness feel absolutely fake.
