"Dad! Look what I did!" Luka smiled and ran toward his father. His legs were still getting used to walking after staying in bed for so long because of the sickness that he got a year ago and only recovered a few days ago.
He opened his palm and showed the glowing flower to Samuel, his tiny hands stretched up and toward his father, wanting his attention and praise.
Samuel smiled down at the kid and kneeled in front of him, taking Luka's hand inside of his. "This is a unique flower, Luka. Where did you get it?"
"I made it!" Luka smiled brightly.
Samuel raise his eyebrows but he didn't let his smile fall of his face. "How did you do it?" He said softly, not wanting the kid to this that he's in trouble.
