Chapter 76 - Hope Anew (Page 70)

After a bit they were close enough to make out the details, they were still high up but River and the rest were now able to see her. Shi had a robe over her body with a hood that was gilded with purple around the edges. Although the robe only reached till her elbows before it stopped. It was connected on both sides by a strand of cloth that spanned across her chest. Shi wore a buttoned up shirt that looked more like a coat as there was a stand of cloth that flowed down her body. It reached pretty far down to her thighs, the area of a regular human with the symbol of the kingdom sewn into it at the bottom.

She looked down at the group as she had a number of cloth bundles balanced on her back. "Yes? Also who are these kids?" Shi asked Baron, gesturing to River and the rest with her hand. "Well these are the hero's chosen by the crystal, didn't you hear about it?" Baron said "They need measurements for their outfits and we need you to be in charge of making the cloth part."

"I see although… I expected them to look more…" Shi trailed off gesturing at the group with her finger "Heroic, they don't look like they will be saving anything anytime soon." She said as she reached the ground and moved over to the counter taking and placing the bundles of cloth on the table. "Anyways the names Shidaluku, Shi for short since you all can't seem to pronounce my name correctly."

Although the name Shidaluku is already hard to remember, pronouncing it would only be even harder than River assumed. It was good that she was willing to be called a shorter name so it is easier to remember. "Though if you can't pronounce my name I would prefer if you called me by my title, The Weaver." She said, shooting a glare at Baron who seemed to shrug it off without any issues. She placed on gloves although it would leave her fingertips exposed although since Shidaluku had claws instead of fingernails it would make sense.

Although her claws were pink in colour as were her eyes as were the tips of her legs. Although her legs ended in sharp points which made River question if she can actually move around well on flat surfaces. Considering that Shidaluku was currently skittering across the place almost like she was gliding about he doubted that would be the case.
