The Wraiths immediately reacted to the Soul Eater attacking it with ranged
attacks while a few of them went around it. The Soul Eater swung its long arm at them but was not able to hit its target due to the attacks it received from the Wraiths. Ghost readied their blades and summoned another batch of Wraiths into the fray. Izaiah charged the incoming Wraiths with her spear, sweeping her spear across the battlefield with deadly grace. Skrull and Sabre joined the fray alongside Izaiah, then another dispatch of troops entered the area joining the fight.
Ghost charged headfirst into the fresh batch of troops cutting through their
ranks with ease as if they were nothing more than clay troops. Izaiah swung her arm in Ghost's direction as a literal wall of skeletons manifested in front of them breaking through the floor from nowhere. The skeletons in the wall would also come to life but they stood little to no chance as Ghost barged straight through them sending splinters of bone through the air.
Crimson broke of from the Wraith as she attempted to draw Ghost's
attention, hurling balls of fire and lava at them. Although as she does so she had to dodge the attacks from the Wraith which proved to be troublesome as she would sustain some injuries. Ghost raised their blades as they launched towards the nearest person which was River. Although moments before their blades could hit him they were knocked away with a shower of sparks.
"Out of the way Lich" Ghost said readying themselves again for another
strike while River looked behind him only to see Izaiah. She walked in front of River blocking the way with her body. "Apologies but I am just doing what I was hired to do, kids get out of here." Izaiah said taking up a fighting stance, with a quick blur of motion she leaped at Ghost who blocked and retaliated with their other two swords. Although she moved out of the way with wings? Or so that was what River thought as they were moving too fast to make anything out.
River felt a tug on the sleeve of his shirt and turned to see Sora urging him to
follow as the rest were already making headway for the door. "Come on, we can't help anyone here as we are only in their way." She remarked tugging on his sleeve, he hesitated but eventually followed her looking back to the raging battlefield. They dodged any stray attacks that missed their target, although it seemed that the troops were not that effective against the Wraiths.
Ghost's outline again flickered as he reappeared behind Sora who was
pushing River along. Although the same as previously, Izaiah had phased behind Sora blocking the attack again. This time a purple bolt hit their side exploding, sending them careening towards the side. They growled and looked over to River and Sora getting up but they were unable to pursue due to the constant barrage. Ghost clicked their tongue seeing more and more soldiers enter the room along with the entrance of Adolah. "Seems that I have lost this one, count yourselves lucky I guess I took too long playing around with you." They said in distaste as the blades in their hands dissolved, and their aura and eyes went back to normal.
