Almost immediately the blades of the weapons were surrounded by an ethereal red glow. This glow spreads across the whole weapon enveloping it in an eerie red glow. Then the blade of the weapons glowed a bright red before they all launched towards Star. Her eyes widened and jumped aside using magic to propel herself away from the red blades. Despite all that she was still hit but thankfully it was not too deep but regardless blood flowed. She let out a gasp of pain as she landed on the ground sliding across it slightly due to her momentum.
"Stars above it can do that?! Take cover you all!" Sabre called out as she spreads her wings and flies up to engage Ghost. Just as she said that more red apritional spears were launched across the room. Crashing into its surroundings with deadly precision each time they impacted the ground it caused spiderwebs to form across the ground. Although after impact the phantom spears remained even after impact as we tried to get to cover.
Sabre did her best to try to draw its attention but it remained affixed on us while Skrull launched shockwaves to counter some of its attacks. Its barrage of attacks kept Sabre from getting into close range while it easily dodged her ranged attacks in the air. Star was the first to get into cover as she propelled herself behind a pillar with her magic and wings. Once under cover she started up a chant although that would take some time. Emerald shot as many arrows as she could towards the barrage of spears from Ghost to give the rest of us cover.
Although in doing so she has sustained substantial injuries although somehow through luck or skill she has managed to avoid taking a direct hit. Star would finally finish her spell as a purple magic circle flared to life below Ghost. From the magic circle a bunch of chains erupted from it with hooks at the tip. These chains wrapped around Ghost as the hooks tried to sink into flesh but upon failing it hooked onto other parts of the chain.
It took Ghost by surprise as in a few moments it had bonded them in place but Star seemed to be struggling to maintain the spell. Although it seemed that Ghost was unable to escape by turning into shadows as even as a murky shadow it was still locked in place. During this time Grusk and Sabre were whaling on them intending to do as much damage as possible. Although it didn't take long before cracks appeared across the chains spreading out from where they were held in place.
