"Well done holding it back kid, leave it to the grown ups now!" a familiar female voice said from behind River. With that ghost swung a sword in one of its hands over at River only for it to be blocked by Sabre. As both weapons clashed it sent sparks flying while from the other side Skrull rushed in engaging with Ghost. We pulled back from the fray as we did so Star casted a healing spell on herself and Grusk to heal the injuries they sustained.
Sabre and Skrull resumed their fight against Ghost while Emerald did her best to assist shooting an arrow when she could. We kept back looking between each other unsure of how to proceed as Skrull and Sabre were both extremely well skilled. So intervening could only have two outcomes one is where it is they would be a burden the other is where they can be of assistance. Although considering the skill disparity and the huge gap in experience, abilities and stats they would only be a hindrance. Star paused seemingly in thought before chanting a spell as a light blue magic circle built itself under her signifying an ice spell.
It took her a bit as she was not the best in this type of magic but once she finished she slammed her staff down. Within that instant a light blue magic circle flared to life under Ghost's feet. Moments later ice erupted from the circle as it wrapped itself around Ghost's legs ensnaring them in place. It clung onto their legs tightly going up to their knees, Ghost slammed their halberd down onto the ice cracking it. Although immediately after the cracks sealed themselves up as Star used her mana to maintain the hold on Ghost keeping them rooted in place.
"Nicely done kid" Skrull said over their shoulder as they blocked at attack from Ghost.
"Mind if we join in?" Grusk called out heaving his axe into a fighting stance as
Emerald had stopped her occasional shot of an arrow.
"Against this one, the more the merrier!" replied Sabre
"My oh my, a ten against one me that does not seem fair does it?" Ghost inquired with a playful tone despite his current predicament. "Although considering that 8 of you can't hurt me I assume it makes sense" They said mocking the group as although Shadow managed to land a hit it effectively did nothing.
"In that case, stand still and take this!" Grusk yelled as he charged Ghost, bringing his axe behind him for an overhead strike. A few paces before entering striking range he jumped up and swung his axe down putting his full body weight into the strike.
