Before Finn's meeting with the bear, Dirk begins to worry.
"Hey don't you think it's been too long since Finn left. Should we go find her, John?"
"Yeah. Let's go find her."
"Maybe she's hiding in the woods to prank us."
"Maybe Marcus. Let's just hope she is."
John leads the two into the forest. Dirk gets out the bear spray. Marcus hides behind the two, in fear. After walking in for a few minutes, they hear a beast's roar.
"...."
"Is… Finn… She's not in that direction, is she."
Before John could tell Dirk there's no way, a girl's scream was heard next.
"FINN!"
Finn was running for her life. This is the first time she has seen a bear like this. This bear attacked the black bear that appeared behind the bushes.
This bear was also very different. It had red fur and was twice as big as the black bear.
If the trees weren't in its way Finn would have already been dead.
As she runs for it, the ground begins to shake and it becamed harder to run. She was suddenly cornered off by a cliff. When she looked back, the red colored bear was slowly coming to her. She tries to run pass the bear.
The bear tries to smack her, but smacks some tree branches. One of them was flying towards Finn and she stopped before it could hit her. Finn was cornered again, this time a tree. This tree was different, instead of being tall it grew wide. About 65 feet wide.
Remembering about one of the odd tree facts, grab one of the broken branches. She tries her best to pick it up but just like how it turns to stone when broken off, it was heavy as one. Finn could barely hold the 4 feet stone branch.
She takes a swing at the bear, but only to lose her balance and the bear smacks her up. Finn flies through the air and gets jab in the back by one of the trees with a broken branch.
As she falls back down, all she could feel was pain from the front and back. She tries to get up and make a run, but gets trip by a branch. When she falls on her face and lands on her hands, she was pushed back by a force and lands backwards. There she could feel a pushing force in her right hand. The bear comes up to her as if it has won.
Finn directs her hand to the bear and releases the force. The bear gets pushed back to the cliff. It nearly fell off the cliff, hanging on to the ledge. It tries to climb back up, but the ledge is slowly breaking apart due to its size and weight. As that was happening, Finn tried to make a second run. She fails and falls down again.
"This might be it for me. Ahh… This is not the way I want to go out."
As she thought this was her final moment the wind picks up and ends quickly. Hoping the bear had fallen, Finn looks at the cliff and sees the bear gone.
"At least one of my worries is gone. Now… how.. do..I...get back."
Finn passes out...
"Finn! Where are you?!"
"Stop yelling so loud Dirk. That beast might come get us."
"Shut up Marcus. Finn is in trouble. She didn't bring her bag and if that was a bear, she did not bring the bear spray with her.."
The ground shakes again.
"What is that a earthquake?"
After the shaking, Finn was founded limping towards the group. Dirk was glad she was alive.
"Sis, you're alive. What happen to you?!"
Dirk runs to her.
"Oh. This. I just survived a bear attack."
John comes in.
"And why do you sound so proud of yourself. Look at you, you're a mess."
"I'm good and if it weren't for that cliff I would have died by now."
Marcus looks at his phone.
"Cliff? What cliff. There are no cliffs near here."
"What do you mean? Whatever we can find out later, let's go home. I'm in pain and want to rest."
"What do you mean sis. You should go to the hospital."
"Nah, I'm good. I feel like I can sleep on this one and besides I'm walking normally too."
Finn who was limping earlier was now walking fine.
"How? You were limping just a while ago."
"Don't worry about it. Let's go home."
John and Marcus looked at each other and walked away carrying everyone's stuff. Dirk stayed close to Finn, in case she falls or faints. The group goes back to their cars and headed home. John gives back Finn, her stuff back.
"Hey are you really alright."
"Yeah, I'm fine."
"Ok... See you later."
"Yeah, see you later."
Finn lays her stuff on the floor of her room and heads straight to bed.
"It's been a long day but oddly enough I feel a lot of energy and sleepy at the same time."
She rests her head on her pillow and sleeps. During her sleep the wound on her back disappeared.
In the night sky… a boy with white hair floats above the mountains.
"Well this got interesting. Hope she can control it and who knows maybe personalize it to herself."
The boy floats down to the wide tree. He places his hand on the tree.
"Looks like my help was not that useful, but at least she lives."
As the boy said those words a red bear appeared behind him.
"What a nuisance."
With a simple hand gestures going across the bear's neck like drawing a line, it got cut off.
"Now why is this appearing in this world? You don't belong here. What allowed it here or did it come here on accident… Oh well I will know soon."
The boy opens a portal. As it opened, large amounts of air rushed in to fill the empty space created by the portal. He grabs the decapitated bear and throws it into the portal. He goes in, afterwards, and the portal closes.
As he leaves, another portal appears near the top of the mountain. Out comes…..
